Rainwater Seeping into Dirt
As soon as the sun rose from the distance, Darius still felt the soreness of his body. However, there was also the moon power that was nourishing his body slowly as if carefully seeping into every inch of his body. It didn't help that he felt how their mate bond was transferring what Nicholai got to him. For some reason, he felt so satisfied in the sea of cotton fiber.

"I can't force that to happen…" Darius murmured as he slowly rose from the bed. He sat on his sore butt, but he was using the pain to ground himself. They had yet to kill the Mirage Queen and stop Sheratan from laying his claws on Little Dylan. He couldn't stop time now; even if he could, he wouldn't do it.
"Good morning, love. How was your sleep?" Nicholai groggily spoke from his spot in the bed. His eyes were still closed, yet he talked like he had been awake a lot longer.
