"Then you give me some privacy"

I stared at her as she watched me with a dark expression and she rolled her eyes at her after glaring at me.

"I can't leave you alone here, it's...."

"I can protect myself well, besides the river is not that far from here, I can shout if anything happens"

"That would do"

I said and flashed her a killer smile and walked towards the river, the moment I looked at my reflection on the water, I screamed.

     PRIESTESS CATORI POV

"Then you give me some privacy"

I looked at his eyes and I knew what he meant in an instant, I rolled my eyes at him.

"I can't leave you alone here it's....."

"I can protect myself well, besides the river is not that far from here, I can shout if anything happens"

I interrupted him and thankfully he stopped insisting.

"That would do"

He said and flashed me a killer smile which had me stunned, before he turned around and headed towards the rivfrustrations.

at his back and turned back to what am doing, I cast a spell on myself that will change my appearance and my voice.

"Ahh, what did you do to me!"

A scream could be heard from the direction of the river, I ran towards the river to watch him and there i saw Alex standing astonished near the river, I smacked, that's very good for him, the next second, he shifted to his wolf and rushed to look at his reflection and I smirked seeing the look on his face, his wolf is very ugly presently, this will be the ugliest wolf I have ever set my eyes on, I could imagine how he is feeling right now, for a person who values his appearance more than his life, I won't be surprised if he insist to change back to his normal form.

"What did you do to me"

He asked after shifting back to his human form,,I smacked at him, enjoying the angry look on his face, it is not every time I get to see him this mad.

"What do you mean by that, I don't understand you"

I asked feigning ignorance.

"Why am I like this, why did you turn me this way"

"What do you mean...."

"Why"

He shouted.

"Alright, alright, I will say it"

I said to him with a sarcastic voice.

"This is the only spell I could come up with"

I said to him to have him looking at me suspiciously.

"Then, why are you not like this,you should..., why did you turn yourself into this beautiful....."

"That is the only spell I could come up with for men, I can't even do voice changing spell for men, or didn't you realized that my voice changed"

I said as I glared back at him, in fact I could cast another spell for a better appearance than this but I chose this because I know how much importance he attache to his appearance and its beginning to get annoying, besides I love watching the horror in his eyes, that is very pleasing for me to watch.

"NO, I can't step an inch from here looking like this"

"Oh, really?"

"Yes, if you don't change my appearance, am not moving..."

"Oh, that's simple, wait here for me to go into the vampire kingdom and snatch the eye of the earth.."

"No way"

"Yes way"

We glared at each other for sometime and he gave in seeing that there is no way he would win against me.

"Alright, let's go"

He said sucking but I don't care. I did what I did to him intentionally because of the quarrel we had earlier on, he thinks am not mad at him anymore but infact am still very angry at him, I have already made up my mind, he can't make me his Luna now, attempting to do that is just like pouring water on a stone. I signed, I really wish he didn't do what he did earlier. We continued on our journey nevertheless with Alex looking old and ugly and my beautiful appearance, I chuckled lightly when I noticed his frustration.

"You are really happy at my ugly appearance right?"

"Of course I am, shouldn't I be happy at my creativity"

I said With a chuckle, while he stood still staring at me like a possessed man, I became embarrassed in no time.

"Stop staring at me that way"

I said and looked away immediately, I don't want him to see my   face  flushed red, that would be embarrassing. He  chuckled.

"Catori we..."

He paused, I looked at him, why did he pause suddenly.

"We what"

"Nothing"

He said and stared at me for a while and walked away. We continued our journey in silence, soon we got to the border separating the vampire kingdom and the neighboring kingdom and something unexpected happened. We were actually attacked by a wolf, the wokf took the initiative to attack first, was it premeditated, Alex fought with the wolf and surprising her wasn't that weak as it seems, he is able to withstand Alex attack multiple times even though he was lightly injured.

"Is it a rogue, what is he doing out here alone?"

I asked Alex, he knew better than me in matters concerning the rogues, even this lone wolf is a rogue, I wouldn't be that surprised but, it doesn't carry the scent of a rogue.

"No, it is not"

"How did you know"

"It does not carry the scent of a rogue"

He said with a flat voice.

"Are you going to kill him"

I asked as a stared at the wolf who is lying half dead on the ground, Alex didn't hold back when beating him up, but am puzzled, why didn't he kill him, is so unlike him to show mercy to those who tried to attack him.

"Why did you beat him up like this then, since you said you don't want him dead, why.....?"

"Because he dares to attack me"

He spat out angrily, staring daggers at the half dead wolf.

"You said it yourself that he is not a rogue, why did you beat him up in the first place, no I want to know why you didn't kill him straight away, that is so very unlike you...."
