Storm's intense gaze raked through her in a rather dissatisfied manner, making Scarlet freeze for a moment.
She had heard of alphas with strong aura and experienced a few, but none could be compared to the man she stood before.
He exuded an aura of dignified poise and confidence. His eyes blazed as he stood over her, causing shivers down her spine.
But for Scarlet, it was surprisingly good.
Unknown to her, Storm recalled the smell of that perfume. It was Raven's. She wore something similar when he first met her—at the hotel but everything changed when he saw her again after six months.
He figured her change was part of her disguise for a fresh start but that scent was hard to pass by.
"Alpha?" Scarlet called out, hoping to get his attention.
"Yes." Storm smiled a little. "How may I help you?"
