"Get a fucking grip, Storm. The mate bond and the mark mean nothing to me."
Storm's jaw dropped at Raven's comment. A low growl rumbled deep in his chest from Silver. His eyes narrowed, and for a moment, the powerful Alpha was replaced by a wounded man.
But he quickly schooled his surprise with a scoff. "You're joking," he managed to whisper.
Raven raised an eyebrow. "Do I look like a comedian? Or am I smiling?" Her question sounded more like a challenge which ignited a spark of anger and frustration in Storm.
"Don't deny you don't feel anything between us," he pressed in a low and dangerous voice. "I can feel it and can sense the excitement from your wolf anytime we are together."
