Luna considered Raven's words for a minute and then her face brightened, a small smile on her lips. "Thanks, Raven. Just talking to you makes me feel better."
"Aww, shucks, you're going to make me blush." Raven laughed, fanning her face.
"Well, that's the plan," Luna retorted playfully.
"Now, now, we can't have that." Raven wagged her finger at Luna.
Luna shrugged. "Fine. Your choice. Well, it's getting late. Do you want some tea or hot chocolate before you turn in?"
"Hot chocolate sounds good."
"Okay, I'll make a batch, and we can chat."
"I'd like that," Raven said.
Luna got to work and once she was done, the two women chatted for a while longer, discussing everything from work to little gossips about their past.
When Luna asked about Raven's day, Raven launched into a detailed account of her event planning struggles.
