CHAPTER 25

Seriously?!

Raven blinked and steeled her lips. As she was about to push Storm away, a knock landed on his door.

They both froze, their bodies stiffening at the sound and Storm cursed under his breath. He broke the kiss and glared at the door.

"I swear to God. If that is a salesperson or something..."

Raven's heart hammered in her chest, her pulse racing as her body responded to his touch. She pushed against him, trying to use this distraction to free herself, but he only held her tighter.

"Let me go."

"Why?"

She glared daggers at Storm. Was it that he was oblivious, stupid or just practically dull or intentionally annoying?

"Someone's at the door," Raven mumbled.

"So?"

"Are you kidding me…?" She shook her head. It was useless explaining. "Storm, I said let me go!" she commanded through gritted teeth.

"I'll be damned if I do that."
