He smiled up at me. "I started roasting it outside. I got more wood for you." I rolled my eyes, putting my hands on my hips. "I don't think I am the only one who uses the firewood, Julian."

He tipped the bag over, making the firewood spill to the floor. "You use it the most. I can't for the life of me get why you are so cold most of the time."

I bit my lip, wondering if I should tell him that the cold I felt could only be replaced by the warmth of his arms and I was desperately trying to solve it with fire.

I hoped this night would be our night. I didn't let my feelings show on my face, instead narrowing my eyes at him. "Excuse you? This cabin is freaking cold."

Julian got to his feet and wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me into him. "I bet I can warm it up for you." He leaned in closer, a question in his eyes.

I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Took you long enough." His lips met mine and my wolf rejoiced.
