"Ah, that.... It's okay." Ryley swallowed his throat and forced out a contrived smile. He would be lying if he said he wasn't disturbed by the vision still, but the blond decided to pull himself together and added, "I'm fine now, I was just... you know..." he sighed, "I will only think about it again if I don't do something and distract myself. So I think I will go to the venue and watch the second stage of the modeling audition."
His voice was slightly hoarse but much calmer, and when Clyde rolled his blue eyes at him, Ryley softened his smile despite the lingering uneasiness in his heart. It actually made him happy when he realized the meaning behind the Alpha's questioning gaze— he was checking on him to make sure that he wasn't telling lies. Clyde truly cared about him more than he could imagine.
