Chapter 73

Hans took Aaron's hand and the two were transported to Montana. When Hans opened his eyes, at first he thought that nothing had changed, but when he looked down he noticed that the plants around them were different.

"Welcome to Whiplash, brother!" Aaron said, smiling, unable to contain his happiness at finally having Hans by his side. "Come on, it's this way. We don't live very far from here."

They walked for a few minutes, until Hans spotted a small hut in the middle of the trees.

"I thought you lived with other wolves." Hans said, looking around them. There was no sign of other people.

"Well, we're in Hamza Dum Pack's territory, but we don't live close to downtown nor to the packhouse."

"Sorry to be so curious, but why is that? I mean, wouldn't it be safer to live among the other wolves?"

Aaron gave a dismissive wave with his hand.
