Synopsis: Amara hid her beauty since she was young. Her mother told her that her beauty might become her ruin, therefore she wore a mask and hid the scar that her mother had given her. Can Amara trust a man again? Or will she forever cage her heart on the walls she built herself? But what happens if, along the way of treasuring her newfound love, she learns that the scar she bears isn't just a simple scar, but a mark of a curse? 99. Together again

Outside the chamber, Azer had finally reached Vida and Amara.

He halted, his eyes locking onto the pale, bruised face of his beloved. His chest tightened as he saw the faint rise and fall of her breathing, a testament to the pain and suffering she had endured. He dropped to his knees beside her, his hands trembling as he reached out to touch her face.

"A—Amara," he whispered; his voice barely a breath as he leaned close.

Amara's eyes fluttered open, her gaze meeting his. A faint smile appeared on her cracked lips, and she reached up, her fingers brushing against his cheek.

"Azer…" she murmured; her voice weak but filled with warmth. "You… came."

Tears glistened in Azer's eyes as he gently cradled her head. "I would go through any hell to find you, my dear Luna. I'm sorry I took so long…" he choked out. But as his gaze fell to her belly, he noticed the dark stain spreading across her dress, his heart pounding with terror. "Amara… you're bleeding."
