Synopsis: Amara hid her beauty since she was young. Her mother told her that her beauty might become her ruin, therefore she wore a mask and hid the scar that her mother had given her. But her fantasy was mercilessly broken after her lover sold her to an old nobleman for a pouch of gold coins. She then met Azer, a man working at a bakery. Azer, who strikes her as a mysterious guy who suddenly appeared and invaded her broken heart which she swore to never let be swayed by another again, kept pouring her attention and kindness. Can Amara trust a man again? Or will she forever cage her heart on the walls she built herself? But what happens if, along the way of treasuring her newfound love, she learns that the scar she bears isn't just a simple scar, but a mark of a curse? As she gathers and unfolds the hidden and lost memories of her childhood, slowly, her identity is revealed. And so does the mystery surrounding Azer. --- This novel is the next series after the story of Kyden and Mona [Summoned by a Pretend Villainess]. 36. Why hide something so beautiful?

"Vida, did you go somewhere last night?"

Amara asked as she placed the plate of bacon and eggs on the table. She whirled around and took off her apron, then she pulled the chair and sat. The one in question gave Amara a questioning look while tying her long black hair.

"Yeah. I went and checked on the shop."

Amara gestured the seat to Vida while she answered, "Why?"

"Ugh. I guess you're deep in sleep, huh? It rained. I suddenly remembered I hadn't closed the window in the storage room of my shop so I hurried back."

"You should have asked me to accompany you. It was late at night. What if something happens?"

Vida rolled her eyes and stabbed a bacon on her plate.

"Nothing happened," she answered before chewing the food.

After breakfast, Amara asked Vida to visit the locksmith and get their new keys. After that, Vida left and Amara started unboxing the boxes in the workshop. The ones that contain her unsold products.
