Chapter 7: Living With Who?

That was impossible. The hotel was very dark back then. She could not even see his face clearly. Besides, he was drunk, so he couldn’t have recognized her.

Seeing that she still refused to admit it, Liam glanced at her with his deep eyes, "Still want to deny it? Do you want to see the locket I have with you and your mother’s picture on it?"

Emma’s eyes were filled with horror. Five years ago, she lost that pendant, but it didn’t occur to her that she lost it there.

Much more, she didn’t think about the possibility of him finding that.

"No, you must have made a mistake. It was my sister who slept with you that night. I might have just lost my pendant at the hotel the other day."

Emma still tried to make up excuses, although her face was already red due to embarrassment.

Liam pursed his thin lips and stared at her coldly with his sharp, sarcastic eyes. "Are you making a fool out of me?"
