Chapter 3: Who is he?

"Is it fun?" Ella's big eyes lit up while asking.

"Absolutely." Asher smiled. He lowered his head and stared at Liam’s photo. Asher felt that he was the small version of that man.

In the study room.

Avery's studio was going to launch some new styles of clothing, but Avery had no inspiration at the moment, and she was very depressed by that. Fortunately, Emma could help her more or less. Although Emma was not in the same industry, she had a certain understanding of fashion.

After that night five years ago, Emma met a mysterious girl and found out she was pregnant.

Back then, she didn't have the ability to raise two pups. Luckily, with Avery's help, Emma could keep the two pups with her.

Afterward, Emma was afraid that her Alpha father would take the pups away from her if he knew them, so she followed Avery's advice and left Atlanta. She ran away with her pups, away from his father’s pack.

Now, Emma was already a professional makeup artist. That was why she could give Avery some advice on her new fashion designs.

"Hey! Forget it. Let's eat out tonight." Avery meant that only delicacies could cure depression.

"Great. I'll treat you to dinner tonight," Emma said with a smile.

In the following time, Avery and Emma drove Ella and Asher to visit the parks around the city. She took care of the two kids and had fun with them here and there. They didn't come back until they were exhausted. Therefore, Emma and Avery were not in the mood to see the news on the Internet.

They even didn't know the huge news that had spread in Atlanta at the moment.

In the blink of an eye, it was the third day of their stay. Early in the morning, they finally visited all the surrounding tourist spots in Atlanta. That morning, they decided to sleep until they woke up naturally.

However, around eight o'clock, when Emma and Amy were sleeping soundly, the two kids got up and dressed up. Ella went out of the door with Asher excitedly. The two kids carried their backpacks and quietly sneaked into the elevator.

"Asher, where are we going for adventure?"

"In a castle. Ella, stay beside me. Don't get lost," Asher sternly commanded.

"What are we going to do in the castle?"

"To look for Daddy."

Confused, Ella debated, "But Mommy said that Daddy had already fallen asleep under the ground."

"Idiot, Mommy lied to you. That sleeping man is not our daddy, but the man we are going to look for probably is," Asher explained.

Ella blinked her eyes that started to moist. "Really? Is our daddy in that castle?"

"You'll know when we get there." After saying that, Asher took Ella’s hand and went downstairs.

Just then, he saw a taxi parked nearby. Asher held Ella's hand and went there quickly. At a glance, he found that it was a female driver. Asher immediately said with a smile, "Madam, can you drive us to a place?"

"Kids, where are your parents?"

"Our mommy is still..." Ella was about to say that their mommy was still sleeping, but Asher interrupted her. "Mommy and Daddy had a quarrel. We're going to find our daddy."

"Oh! What pitiful little guys! Come on, get in the car." The female driver was good-looking and very warm-hearted.

Ella shut her mouth. Since she was a child, she had only listened to Asher.

"Where are you going?" the female driver turned back to ask.

"We're going to the Castle, it’s near the forest," Asher replied. That’s the Lycan Castle in the Lycan and werewolf world, but it was called ‘the Castle’ in the human world. He asked Avery the other day and she just told him without any suspicion.

"Well, it's a little far, but it doesn't matter. I'll drive you there now." The female driver was also enthusiastic. She was afraid that such young kids would be abducted, so she quickly took them to find their father.

After half an hour's drive, they arrived at the Castle. Asher took a look at the price on the taximeter and handed the cash to the driver.

"Thank you, Madam. Here is the taxi fee."

"Thank you, Boy." The female driver took the money. Then, she showed them the way. "Look, across the bridge, do you see the huge fountain with a wolf on it? That's the entrance to the castle."

"Thank you," Ella also said politely.

Asher held Ella's hand to get out of the car. They looked up at the grand castle, and Ella asked in joy, "Is our daddy really there?"

"Come with me," Asher called out.

The two kids arrived at the castle entrance, hand in hand. Asher took Ella to sit on the bench next to the fountain. He looked at his phone watch and saw that was 9:30 a.m. Asher had learned that the engagement ceremony usually started at 10:40 a.m., so it was exactly the time when Emma and Avery would wake up and look for them.

Asher was not there to look for Liam. He just wanted to lure Emma to come there. Asher thought, ‘If that man really is our Daddy, maybe he knows Mommy well. Since Ella and I are their pups, they must have feelings each other before and his mommy can make the engagement stop.’

At about 9:40 a.m., Asher's phone watch rang. Seeing that it was Emma, Asher pursed his lips and smiled successfully. He pressed the receive button and greeted, "Hello, Mommy!"

"Brat, where are you?" Emma's voice sounded frightened over the phone.

"Mommy, don't worry. Ella and I are together, and we are safe." Asher quickly comforted Emma as he knew that she was already freaking out.

However, her young pups were missing. Even though Emma was talking to them over the phone, she was still going crazy. She asked angrily, "Where are you right now?"

"Mommy, Ella and I are waiting for you at the entrance of the Castle."

"What? The castle? The Lycan castle?" Emma raised her voice in shock.

"Right! The Lycan Castle." Asher had looked into that castle and found that it was one of the most luxurious buildings in the world.

"Damn it! What are you doing there so early in the morning?" Emma was being emotional.

"We just went out to play, and then, we didn't know why we arrived here. Mommy, come and pick us up quickly. We seem to have lost our way."

"You... Stay at the door and don't move. Don't go anywhere. I am on my way." In a panic, Emma didn't hang up the phone. Instead, she told Avery that she was in a hurry to find the kids, and then a chaotic sounds were heard from the other end of the line.

"Mommy, relax. Take your time. The guards here will take care of us." To prevent Emma from panicking, Asher deliberately lied to her.

"Really? Well, you two betters stays with the guards and don't go anywhere. I am on the way right now." Emma gave them an order.

Asher pressed the phone watch to hang up. Beside him, Ella was very confused. "Asher, why did you lie to Mommy? Saying that we were lost?"

"Only in this way will Mommy come here to pick us up. In a while, we'll arrange for Mommy and daddy to meet."

"Who's our daddy?"

"It's the man you saw on TV last time."

"The man who looks very much like you?" Ella asked in a tender voice.

"Yeah, it's him. He will make his Luna his Queen here today. We must stop him to do that. I look it up, it was like hunman getting married."

Upon hearing that, Ella immediately echoed, "Daddy is Mommy's."

"You're right. So, we will go upstairs with those guests later and let Mommy come upstairs to find us."

"Okay. I'll do as you say." Ella looked at Asher with a serious expression.

Asher glanced at the time. It was already 9:50 a.m. He thought that Emma and Avery should be on the way there. Now, he could take the opportunity to go upstairs with Ella.

When Asher saw a tall and handsome man, he immediately held Ella's hand and followed them. When they entered the hall, the security guards thought they were the young couple's pups, so they did not stop them.

When they arrived at the elevator, Asher looked up at the young man and asked, "Hey, are you going to attend Mr. Anderson's engagement ceremony?"

Darius raised his eyebrows slightly, looked down at the little boy and was surprised to find that the little boy resembled his friend Liam Anderson. Instantly interested, he leaned down and asked,

"Little one, who is your father? "

Asher was not happy with the name "little one" and was about to say something back when he heard his innocent sister say.

"My dad is upstairs, we are going to find him now!"

Upstairs? Isn't that the place where Liam's engagement ceremony is being held today?

Hearing this, Darius became more interested and was just about to ask the next question when the elevator doors opened.

The next thing he saw was the little boy grabbing his sister's hand and getting out of the elevator and running away.

When they arrived on the 10th floor, it was already 10 in the morning. A grand engagement ceremony was being prepared tensely in the banquet hall. Asher and Ella followed the young couple inside. Looking at the luxurious and festive decorations, Asher was sure that it was where the engagement would be held.

In the magnificent banquet hall, there were nearly 200 guests. They all dressed up, appearing very dignified and important.

Asher and Ella couldn't help making an awed expression. They didn't expect so many people to come.

"Come with me," Asher instructed as he held Ella's hand and walked discreetly.

"Asher, has Mommy arrived?"

"Mommy can't show up right now. We have to make her wait for a while."

Asher looked at the time again. It was 10:30 a.m. He was surprised, "Why hasn't the ceremony started yet?

"Maybe it’s at 11 o'clock?"

Asher really hoped that Emma would not arrive so soon. It would be best if she arrived on time.

At the same time, Avery's car was still stuck at a traffic intersection!

Emma and Avery were so anxious that they wanted to swear. "Oh my god! It's almost 11 o'clock. Are those two kids alright?"

Emma was so anxious that her heart pounded.

"Don't worry. With the guards by their side, they should be safe." Avery tried to comfort Emma.

"These two little guys, when I get back, I'll give them punishments. How dare they wander around?" Emma really wanted to teach them a lesson at that moment.

"Relax. Don't be angry. We'll be there before eleven o'clock."

There was a long queue of cars, moving forward slowly.

On the other side, in the banquet hall, the host finally came to the stage. He introduced the families on both sides and invited a dignified elder to give a toast on the stage.

Asher and Ella watched the fun in the crowd. Some kind-hearted guests even stuffed foods into their hands.

On the stage, there was a background picture woven by thousands of flower. Next to it, there was an elegant and high-end ivory carved pillar. The ceremony stage was decorated in a romantic manner.

At the tables on both sides, a tall and strong gentleman and a delicate beautiful lady stepped out. They were the center of today's engagement; Liam Anderson and Charlotte Wilson.

The man standing on the stage was a person of maturity, charm, elegance, and nobility. He was perfect and impeccable, and his eyes were as dark as the night, making it hard for people to read his emotions.

As for the girl in the silk white dress, she was tall, charming, and imposing. She was like a queen. At that moment, she looked at the man with an affectionate smile on her face.

"Wow! Daddy is so handsome! Right, Asher?" Ella covered her mouth with her hand and was amazed.

In the corner, Asher's phone rang. It was his mom. He quickly picked it up and greeted, "Hello, Mommy."

"Little brats, where are you?" Emma asked in a rage.

"Mommy, Ella and I are on the 3rd floor of the castle. Come pick us up."

"What are you doing there?" Emma was furious.

At the door of the castle, the two women rushed in. They were in a hurry to go upstairs to look for the two kids, but they didn't notice that there was an event on the display board in the castle’s lobby.

The elevator arrived at the 3rd floor, and it opened. Emma's call with Asher was still connected, so she asked, "Where are you?"

"We are in the banquet hall! Mommy, come in quickly." Asher couldn’t wait to see Emma.

If their mommy won’t arrive on time, their daddy would be taken away by another woman.

Emma and Avery were already losing their minds. They didn't care about what they were doing in the banquet hall. They just wanted to find them as soon as possible.

Emma was not mentally prepared at all. She reached out and pushed the door open hard, and the scene inside instantly stunned her.

"Charlotte and...Liam?"
