Emma quickly distanced herself from Liam. "Well, no."

"It’s our mate," Rue mumbled.

Emma walked up to Fanny and said, "I may have to get off work early."

"We'll get off work at 5:30 p.m.!"

She looked at the time. It was 4:30 p.m. It was time to pick up the two kids. She picked up her bag. "I'll come to work tomorrow morning. Goodbye."

Fanny looked at her leaving figure in surprise. In her opinion, Emma would have to leave in a few days if she continued to do so.

Liam sat in his sports car and watched as Emma got out of the elevator with a guilty conscience. Then she looked around and hurried to the passenger seat. As soon as she sat down, she patted her chest., "I'm scared to death. If someone sees me in your car, it'll be a big problem."
