chapter 23- BLAIRE’S POV

Fuck! Did he just say the alpha? I knew he suspected something or he knew something, what am I going to say? Obviously, there is no excuse whatsoever for the reason why I have chosen to do him bad. He has been nothing but nice to me and this is how I repay him. I blacked out momentarily because I didn't have any explanation.

He nudged me with his elbow and I looked to see the dance had ended. He dragged me outside the building, "I asked you a question."

"I can explain, it's just now there are no words that will make sense." I bent my head in shame.

"No words to tell the alpha that you don't want him and you've found someone else? You know he doesn't like you or care about what you do so I don't think he would mind who you choose to be with or you don't want to run away with me because you're scared of what he will do when he finds out?" I let out a sigh of relief immediately, I could have burst my own ass.
