chapter 18- Richard’s pov

"Her stepdad?" I was confused I didn't know she had a stepdad and to be honest I never asked because I never really cared. I don't know what to make of that, he was supposed to be punished. He deserves the death penalty for being a traitor to my father and this pack. I wonder what his relationship is like with Blaire.

"Do you know if he is close with her?" I asked Matt.

"I don't know, I mean… I don't think so. He would have come looking for her all these while that she hasn't returned home."

"Yeah." I nodded. He has a point if she meant anything to him, he would have come looking for her or maybe he is scared to come close to the estate…guilty conscience?

"So, what do you think I should do now? Honestly, I'm confused and shocked."

"I think you should let her know but before then we need to do more digging into their relationship and… everything about their family."
