Mother Agar handed Ciara a small pouch containing a dried, fragrant herb. "This is Moonpetal," she explained. "It will help you connect with your seer magic and unlock your Lycan nature."
Ciara hesitated, unsure if she was ready to take this step. Fidel noticed her uncertainty and took her aside.
"Are you sure you're willing to do this?" he asked, his voice low and concerned. "We can't turn back once you've started down this path."
Ciara looked up at him, her eyes searching. "I have to know who I truly am," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I have to understand my heritage and my powers."
Fidel's expression softened, and he nodded. "I'll be here for you, no matter what. But you must be sure, Ciara. This is your decision."
Ciara took a deep breath, steeling herself. "I'm sure," she said, her voice firm.
Fidel's eyes locked onto hers, and he nodded. "Then let's do this."
