He walked without a plan, his eyes unfocused as his thoughts. He was right to stop Gideon from killing Carly. He knew he was. Even if she had lied. Even if she was working with Foster, he didn’t think she deserved to die. And Gideon had been wrong to use her brother like he had, even if he had been desperate, even if Jesse couldn’t count on him to do anything less. If anybody else learned what Gideon had done to find Foster, they would be horrified.
