Take a leap!

Amber:

I swear if I stayed in that room any longer I would have ended up kissing the greek god sitting in front of him.

All his features seemed so perfect as if God had given all his time to build this single man.

Suddenly my phone blinked and it was Mr. Greek God himself.

Zach: Lunch at 1.00??

Amber: Sure. Meet you in front of the office.

I was closing myself to him. I wanted myself to trust him but I wasn't sure if I could.

Alexander:

I was going through my paperwork when suddenly my phone started buzzing, it was Amber.

"Hi little sis what's up ?"

"Zander", she sighed

"What's wrong Amy?"

"Your friend"

"What did he do? Did he force himself on you? I am coming I swear I will break his nose."

I knew Zach was Amber's mate but I warned him not to force himself on her she was delicate and already had faced a lot in her life I didn't want anything to happen to her.

"Zander hush. He did nothing. He is sweet like too sweet I don't know Zander what is happening to me "

"Hey kiddo you're fine"

"I don't know Zander should I trust him? For the first time in years I feel like telling my story to someone I feel like opening up to someone but I'm not sure."

"Kiddo take your time it's your life and you decide who to trust and who not to but I feel give him a chance at least and he won't hurt you trust me"

"Thanks oldie. Anyways bye I have a lunch date with your friend", she said teasingly

"I see someone is getting close. Take care of yourself Amber and let yourself love maybe a few more people. Bye"

"Bye Zander, love you"

"Love you too" I know she could trust him, I have known Zach since high school and though he is a badass he is caring at the same time. He is not a person who would reject his mate under any circumstances and I know this is what Amber is scared of but I wanted her to take the leap for herself and that's why I didn't want to respond to her directly.

Zach:

Nic had run through the town every legal office, bank everywhere but there was no clue. All we got to know from his errand was that her name was Amber Weaver and she had appeared 2 years ago. None of the files had her place of birth or her parents' name, her schooling nothing. All we got to know is Alexander is her guardian and he used his influence to fit her in the town like she had always stayed here. I couldn't even get an inch close to what they were hiding.I looked at the clock and it was 12:55, I remember I had asked Amber for lunch. I didn't expect to know anything about what she was hiding through the lunch I couldn't manipulate my own mate, I felt when she will be comfortable she will open up on her own till then I will just trying to search without her even getting a hint of it.She was already there in front of the entrance when I reached.

She was in her pencil skirt and white blouse with a scarf around her neck. Every employee in the office dressed the same yet she stood out it seemed she was the only one doing justice to whatever she was wear.

"Hungry??"

She turned and was surprised for a moment within a second she brought a smile on her face," Where to?"

"Um you say, your place you will know better"

"Well I am not the one who prefers a heavy lunch so there is this cafe just down the street with the best cappuccino and sandwiches. How about that?"

"Sure ma'am", I said beaming at her and led her to my car.

The 5 minutes car ride was a silent one all she did was to look out of the window yet even doing that she looked marvellous.As we took our seat she ordered for both of us. This was something I loved about her its like I loved everything about her this just made the feeling stronger. I hated to think about what I should order or what should be looked for breakfast or lunch and without even a word she already seemed to take that burden away from me.

"So do you come here often?" I asked

"Oh no only when Zander and Beth are in town"

"Amber why don't you try something other than a bun I think you will look amazing with those dark brown strands falling free"

"Do you mean to say I don't look good enough in a bun?"

"No no no you look pretty in everything you do"

"I was just joking, I like my hair in a bun it stays organised you see", she said mockingly"So tell me about yourself"

"Ummm my name's Amber Weaver well I am 20 and I love keeping my mind busy. Oh and I love the colour black and before you ask I have no middle name and neither do I have a pet. What about you?"

"Well I am Zachery Collins Mathew and I'm 24 and I like the colour white it brings peace to my mind. By the way what if you had a pet what would it be?"

"It would be a Siberian Husky you see they resemble wolves and I seem to have an extra level of attraction towards wolves but you can't tame one so I will settle with a husky as well", she said with excitement in her voice

"Wolves! Ya even I love wolves they are my favourite animals"

I was cut by Ash's mind link"I think I found something"

"I think we should head back", I said with disappointment laced in my voice.

I didn't want to leave she just started to open up. She said wolves and I wanted to know her more."Ya sure I have got a hell lot of rescheduling to be done"

Amber:

Wolves like what was I even think I should have stopped at Husky.I am an idiot no-one justifies having a pet but oh I had to hormones.I sighed.He was doubtful I was cent percent sure my luck he remember some work before I almost started telling him my life story.
