Glowing Eyes

Kai was still contemplating how to allocate his istats and also thinking how to ask either Nika or the Lt.

"Argh screw this I'll deal with the soul weapon first" he pulled out his tablet and started to write a message to Nika which was the only current contact apart from the school administration contact.

It was met with a quick response by the captain, "Kai, I have to depart in an hour to the wall". This was a disappointing answer for Kai, but soon another message arrived and he was all smiles.

"So you better get your ass here quickly".

Now Kai turned around and ran in towards the location that Nika sent him. It took him five minutes to reach Nika's location which was in a forest, "Damn I have to get my stamina to 10" he said panting. Just as he said that he received a notification.

The system stated and Kai felt like it was mocking him.

"Well this is great and it settles my other problem" He said while putting the 2 remaining stat points into stamina reaching 10.

In that moment the fatigue that Kai once felt was gone; it felt like he had a new pair of lungs.

"Every time I hit 10 in a stat it's so different to adding one stat point, maybe because it's a breakthrough in my physic" he stated.

With that done he went in a little deeper and saw Nika and next to her was a man standing around 6'2, his body was extremely built, almost making him look like a bodybuilder.

But something that really caught Kai's eyes was the color of his medium length hair. A dark shade of purple that could only be spotted if this person was to stand under the sun.

"Hello Kai" Nika said, turning around,

"This is one of the soldiers in my squad, his name is Ryan." The man just stood there in front of Kai, although this didn't intimidate Kai. Which clearly was the intention of Ryan.

"You know even if you are 2 inches taller than me it just means I got 2 more inches where you don't" Kai said mocking the attempt of intimidation.

Ryan's face turned beet red with anger and embarrassment. Nika was covering her mouth to not let a laugh escape.

Energy could be felt coming from Ryan and suddenly the air seemed to get heavier around Kai "You dare mock me?!"

Kai's body felt heavier and he was struggling to stand up, he felt his body sinking.

But the energy quickly stopped as Nika froze her underlying foot and stood next to him. "Calm down Ryan it was just a joke" She said carefree. The notifications disappeared from Kai systems.

"Now Kai, you shouldn't pick a fight you can't win yet" She said, rubbing the young adult's hair as if he was a toddler. Kai quickly pulled away.

"Can we get this over with?" He said.

"Summoning your soul weapon is pretty easy, tell me do you remember the power you felt? The energy that created them?" This was responded with a nod from Kai. Then just use that power here to imitate the feeling of the energy.

"Ok, I'll give it a shot"

Kai pulled his hands a bit up just matching the level of his waist and slightly bent his knees. "Feel the energy" He said to himself, he took a deep breath holding it in his lungs for about 10 seconds.

When he exhaled the breath came out of his mouth, was hot steam. The heat was leaving his body in waves. Nika and Ryan notice the change in temp. "He is barely releasing his magic. How can it feel this hot already?" Ryan thought to himself while looking at Kai and Nika.

A light started to cover Kai's hands changing shades of color white, red and black. Kai opened his eyes which were glowing once again crimson red.

Once his eyes were opened his heat intensified creating a small amount of fire in his hands, giving him the feeling like something was being engraved in his skin. Now in his hands were the demon gauntlets.

He looked at Nika who's only comment was, "That's a new look" with a smile. Ryan was stupefied since this was the first time he saw eyes glowing.

"Wait y… you're one of them?" He said in shock that he had only heard rumors about such things and people didn't even think it was real.

"So that's why Nika is so interested in this person, and his element is fire although his control over it is weak. When he grows accustomed to his powers he's going to be a powerhouse. Hellbound I'll remember that name" this were the thoughts of Ryan.

"I did it, thank you Nika" He said.

Nika smiled proud of her teachings, "Well we should get going, train hard Kai and come meet me in the wall once you're ready"

The Wall is a massive defense line that's currently the only line of defense against the beast. The wall is located around the island that the meteor crashed into. The island is where the majority of the beats are and it's also where the highest level beasts are assumed to nest.

Although they're beats in other parts of the world it's not as bad as the wall. The defenses that are in the four continents are known as borderlines. Outpost meant to keep the people safe from the beast that roamed outside the wall.

"Well we should get going and turn those eyes of yours off, don't show that to just anyone ok? And if you need something txt me or go to Lt. Copper ok? Nika orders the young man.
