Dangerous Ability

Kai was barely awake inside his own memory seeing he wasn't strong. "I can't stop him, he's too strong, I had forgotten how strong he is" Kai was losing hope even inside a memory.

Copper fell down as he was being dragged by someone, when he looked up he saw Captain Nika dragging him back from the flames.

"What are you doing Nika I was getting through him" The Lt said about to move but he then felt a stinging pain on his arms, when looking at them he could see the raw flesh they were in.

"A, thanks cousin would be good from time to time" She said dropping him off with a nurse and then approached the fiery room.

She twisted the base of a ring and started to cover herself in ice as she walked deeper inside the room to where Kai was.

"Kai!" she screamed at him but there was no response she then held Kai's arms and shook them a bit, "Kai come on you can do these get yourself out of there" She shouted directly in his ear.

Kai's memory was fading, he was starting to come out of the memory, but his eyes shot open.

"No, not this time!" He placed his hands on the broken stairs and used them as support. The white light began to form again on his hands now the light turned completely red and flames started to form around his hands.

After a few seconds the fire died and gauntlets could be seen, they were red and black in colors, with scales forming the gauntlets until the wrist. Each finger had sharp but refined claws, making them look like claws.

It seemed this was what Kai needed to find his power again, he rushed the man who threw the chains at him.

Kai managed to dodge the chains and clawed at the man who fell down, after he was down he kept clawing the face of the man and repeated the action blood got everywhere.

He stopped when the man had no face. He stood up and sighed as if he had waited for that his entire life. He looked at his gauntlets but they started to disappear as he started to hear a voice screaming his name.

"Kai!" as he opened his eyes he saw Nika in front of her, with burnt marks all over her body.

He quickly looked around and saw the room on fire. "We need to get out of here" the captain said, but she was stopped by Kai.

"Let's give this a try," he said.

He closed his eyes, as he moved his hands towards the flames which he didn't find too hot, he imagined the fire dying down. He opened his eyes which had turned to crimson red and moved his hands downwards.

The flames shrunk in size, and soon after the fire died and so did the color in Kai's eyes. He fell to his knees in exhaustion, but received a notification from the system

"50%?" He said a bit disappointed but was happy that he could finally use his element to a certain degree. "Nika are you alright?" he asked the burned blonde woman.

"Am okay Kai" she replied with a smile.

A nurse quickly rushed towards Nika and started applying bandages with water on the burnt marks. "Where's my idiotic cousin?" the captain asked.

"His wounds were too much, so he was taken to Dr. Young for healing" Kai was listening to the conversation and somewhat felt bad for hurting the Lt, since he was trying to help him.

After the nurse was done Nika looked towards Kai and said "You got it?". "get what?" asked Kai in confusion.

"Your soul weapon" The blonde woman said.

"In my memory yes, but not here" replied, almost sounding disappointed.

"Don't worry you just need to learn how to control them and no need to relive your trauma for that" she said clearly looking at Kai with the curiosity to ask about the memory.

"It was a memory of my family, that's all I'm willing to tell you right now" The man said standing up and exiting the room.

While he was walking he looked at his status window:

"I have 2 stat points. I think a balanced build would be better, for now I haven't met anyone that strong. Although the time will come for that" Kai said in his head, he noticed there was something new in his system's tabs.

"Soul Weapon" Kai read out. He selected the tab and read a grayed out option.

"Demon Gauntlets, so that's my soul weapon" he sighed.

"I should ask Nika or the Lt how to summoned it"

In a dark room there was a person sitting in a chair waiting for someone. The door opened and a blonde haired boy walked in and stood in front of the chair.

"Abel, I need your help in teaching someone a lesson," Jake said. The watch in Abel's watch was the only thing it could be seen, displaying a number 2 on it.

"Tell me, Jake, why would you dare come in my presence after not keeping your end of the deal last time?" Abel spoke

"Because, it's about a certain new student that I heard a rumor that his eyes glowed" Jake smiled.

Abel also had a smirk on his face.

"Another one that can make their eyes glows let's see if his strong like the other two. I'll look into this on mine own thank you fo rthe information" The man said.

Jake was starting to walk out the room but suddenly a light could be seen behind him.

"Don't you think you off the hook, Jake your debt is yet to be settle" Abel said.

Another person appeared from the darkness and was about to hit Jake but Abel held his hand up signaling him to stop.

"But for today I'll let you go" The man in the chair said.
