Blacksmith

"I'm Astrid Witherstar," she said.

She introduced herself and now Kai could feel the power coming from her.

"She's at least low A rank" Kai thought.

"So that means I can't get anything from this?" Kai said.

"No, this was the wall's fault, so you'll be compensated," she said.

This brought a smile to Kai's face, he had more rewards awaiting him. Astrid gestures to follow her back to the wall. When they got to the wall Astrid quickly gave Kai his reward.

"$60k not bad" Kai thought, making this much for so little work even felt unfair but Kai wasn't going to let this opportunity go by without exploiting it.

"Now if you were lucky to get beast cores you can go to the blacksmith and request beast armor. It will increase your strength regardless of the core tier but the higher the tier the better the increase they're also some beast that have special abilities. If you're really lucky your armor can get such abilities, but commonly, only high tiers and up give the abilities, be sure, to give the high tier core to the master blacksmith not a regular one" Astrid said.

Kai found it fascinating.

"So if I hunt higher tier beasts I can get better armor on top of leveling up my stats can easily double" The greed for power could be seen in his face.

This made Astrid smile wryly, it was the only thing she could do. "He has determination, if he concentrates on training and enhancing his magic he can reach A rank in maybe two years" she thought.

But little did she know that it would take much less for Kai since he had the system. Kai went to the blacksmith area of the wall it was on the outside.

"Jum? What do you want, young fella?" A short muscular man with an eyepatch said.

"Hey, I would like to request some beast armor," Kai said. "He must be the master blacksmith"

"Do you have the materials?" The man said as he scratched his rough white beard.

Kai took out the low tiers cores which made the man sighed. But then he looked at Kai's hand and saw the same type of core but it was clearer and had more energy.

"Oh a medium tier, and it's the same as the others. I believe that we can make a full chest plate with this" the man said but then he widened his eyes as Kai took out the high tier core.

"Ho…w"

"What about this one?" Kai asked

"Where did you get this?" the man said as he stretched his hand but hesitated to touch it.

"A high tier beast, that was already hurt" Kai lied.

"I see, I'll have to get a master blacksmith for this. Every high tier and above have to be handled by the master" this came as a shock to Kai he thought this man was the master blacksmith.

He had the perfect description of being one. The man ran to a little shaft, he later came out with what appeared to be a teenager. It was a blonde haired girl with blue eyes who looked to be around 15 years old.

Kai knitted his eyes but the blacksmith from before quickly introduced the girl. "This is Master Blacksmith Eva BlackStone, her family have been blacksmith since ancient times" he said as he lowered her head in respect for the girl.

Kai's eyes glowed red for an instant. He saw a terrifying amount of mythic, but it looked full of pure life and creation. Seeing this Kai handed the core to her.

She looked at the core for a second. "High Tier Gap Tigris, even if it was wound for you to be able to kill a troublesome beast like this one is quite the feat" she said.

"Unfortunately it's just a high tier so I can probably make an accessory type instead of an armor, will that be ok?" She asked.

But Kai looked troubled, he was thinking that maybe he should go somewhere else and see if everyone told him the same. Upon seeing Kai troubled, Eva sighed.

"You might be tempted to go to another blacksmith and I cannot stop you but the majority of the blacksmith here only have two years experience and cannot rivaled my 43 years of blacksmith experience. Well it's hardly fair since my family have been blacksmith even before all of this magic" she said.

Kai then seemed to make a decision. "I want you to make whatever you think is best with the high core while with the others a chest plate"

This made the male blacksmith smile, Kai was definitely different, must warriors didn't believe Eve when she said 43 years of experience.

They then asked Kai what style of armor he wanted medieval, modern or somewhat in between. After talking for a bit he left and was heading back inside.

"Well, I was a bit skeptical at first but with 43 years of experience I trust her" he said before he stopped and processed something.

"43 YEARS!"

Meanwhile in a boat.

Cain could be seen sitting with a sour expression. He was still in a bad mood from his encounter with Darya. "Those damn brats think they're special, I'll show them," he said with anger in his eyes.

The boat was heading to the wall since Kai was there and he had a request that his team was to join a mission. A thunderstorm was approaching the Island and it looked dangerous.
