Chapter 20 (Yaguasan)

The both of them sat in Delia's room and learned the yaguasan as time passed. Ciaran was soon done with his work while Lux was still trying to pronounce the words.

Delia: "Eilu, AE-LU. It means friend."

Lux: "Eilu, friend."

Delia: "Alright now try to make a sentence with the words you learned."

Lux: "Uhm… Maku a'si nga eilu?"

Delia: "A'sih, it's like AH-SEEH. A'si means 'is' "

Lux: "Maku a'sih nga eilu."

Delia: "Great! Now what does it mean?"

"You are a friend." Lux said.

"Maku ngan mak eilu tui" Ciaran was at the door with his arms crossed. "Heow a'si ke?"

"Tak gaio, tak ba'he" Delia answered as his sat next to her.

"Want to go to the library now or you want to learn first?" Ciaran asked Lux.

"Library, I have to know what has happened to my eyes." Lux stood up and so did the other two.

"Please lead the way, your castle is way bigger than the one in Inshilux." Said Lux.

"Yea,yea. We are going there with you anyways." Ciaran replied as he walked in front of Lux.

Lux followed behind Ciaran and Delia, back in Inshilux, no one was allowed to stand in front of the royals unless you were guards. Are the rules here entirely different?

"Are we almost there?" Lux asked.

"Not really, it's only halfway." Delia answered.

Lux never really walked much after his mother died, he would only walk outside to the old bench he sat on, the royal kitchen to make himself food and stay in his bedroom till who knows what time.

Lux took a quick stop, walking to the Pemmayg castle's library could be at least Lux one week of walking in his old palace. Lux quickly caught up again after resting.

"There?" Lux asked.

"Very near." Ciaran replied.

Lux wanted to die already but he couldn't, Lux knew he was weakling but he didn't think he was that weak.

'I'm gonna die before we arrive there.' Lux thought.

"And we're here." Ciaran said as he opened the door.

Lux was lucky this time. They trio went inside, Lux rarely went to his old library. There wasn't much inside it, only books about the kings and rules.

As they stepped into the library, it was like a new world, with plants all over the walls. It wasn't Lux's old library, it was again, huge but it was filled with books, big and small. There were a lot of paper cranes on the tables and the shelves.

Ciaran went to the front desk, there wasn't anyone there.

"Hey, can you tell me where the legend section is?" Ciaran asked.

A little orange crane started to fly, Delia and Ciaran quickly caught up with the crane while Lux was behind.

"Thank you," Delia said.

Lux was near Ciaran and Delia but was in a different section of the library, there were different paper animals. Lux saw them all move, it was like being in a jungle, there were monkeys swinging on real vines. Lions and tigers chasing around, like a mini ecosystem but smaller and made out of paper.

"Lux!" Ciaran called out.

Lux quickly caught up with the two of them. It suddenly was cold, and there were mini paper penguins, helping Ciaran and Delia find the books we needed.

The 3 later sat down on a table, and opened the books.

"This place.." Lux said.

"It's a mini ecosystem, even if they were made of paper, they still need to live in their proper environment." Ciaran answered.

Lux took a book and opened it, the book was the dragon legend. Ciaran and Delia were also reading another 2 different books, 'I don't think I should bother them' Lux thought.

Lux was reading really quickly, is he a bookworm or is he just flipping pages?

"Are you even reading it?" Ciaran asked.

"Yes, why?" Lux replied.

"Sorry, you were just flipping the pages really quickly." Ciaran looked to the side.

"Oh, it's alright. I'm really reading it." Lux answered.

Suddenly a crane flew down, and kept pointing in the air. Lux looked at the direction it pointed, a clock. The time was 12. 20pm. He thought for a second.

"Delia, didn't say something about the speech of the ball." Lux reminded her.

Delia quickly stood up, "Oh no, it's almost time!"

Ciaran also stood up and quickly walked out, "Come on! You have to get dressed, it's in 10 minutes!" Ciaran called out to Lux.

Lux thanked the crane and ran off, when they reached their rooms there was 6 minutes left. Delia continued running while Ciaran and Lux were in the bedroom. Ciaran threw Lux a nicer shirt, "Just quickly change here!"

Lux did as he was told and they ran as fast as they could. Luckily they made it in time, as in time I meant like 3 minutes late. Luckily they only stood behind as the king and queen gave their speech about the ball and a newcomer.

"" The king cheered.

Lux felt nice, someone said good things about him. "Hey," Ciaran whispered. "Delia still has work after this, what do you want to do?"

Lux shrugged to a 'i don't know'.
