The halls were filled with students as I walked in through the schools front doors. Students were milling about as some stood at there lockers and others gathered in their separate groups. Some of the students would catch up on their daily gossip and others would talk about what they have seen on the TV. Some of them would talk about who they hooked up with last night or who they`ve hooked up with the past week, and others were on their phone. None of this interested me in the slightest.

I sigh and make my way through the crowded hallways until I find the stairs that lead up to the second and third floors. I climbed the stairs two at a time and head for the last classroom on the right. The abandoned classroom comes into view and I smile as I come to stand in front of the old rickety door. Sliding the door open, I make my way into the room and pick a table to sit at before putting my bag down and resting my feet upon the table top. I sigh in content and lean down to grab the full packet of cigarettes out of the front pocket of my bag.

I take one out and bring it to my nose and inhale the smell of tobacco. A big smile graces my face as I bring it to my lips and light it. I inhale a lungful of smoke and exhale it out of my nose as I relax into the chair. Smoking has always calmed me down when I was having a rough time or couldn`t cope with something properly. Just the smell alone could make anyone relax on their bad days.

I bring the smoke back up to my lips and inhale another lungful of smoke before exhaling it while making smoke rings. I giggle as the rings float to the ground and vanish in a puff of smoke. I giggle again and look up as the door to the old classroom opens up and in walks Ronny, one of the only students that I got along with and didn`t want to stab them in the eyes with a fork.

"Ya know smokin`s not good for ya, piccolo" Ronny shakes her head at me but smiles as I blow more smoke out my nose. Standing up, I walk over to her and give her a big smirk as I hand her the half finished cigarette. She takes it and puffs on it before making a face and ashing it. "That`s some good tobacco", she hands the cigarette back to me as she passes me to sit in the seat that I was in before. I shrug my shoulders and take a seat on top of the table closest to me.

"It is, isn`t it" I say through a mouthful of smoke. Ronny and I have been friends for quite sometime. It`s a wonder that we even get a long in the first place considering we are nothing alike. Ronny is very loud and opinionated, where`s I like to stick to myself and avoid talking to people as much as I can. Ronny likes colorful things, but I myself like darker colors that aren`t to eye catching. Ronny likes going to pubs and clubs, I`d rather stay home and watch Netflix or work on my bike.

We were two completely different people. But as the saying goes, `opposites attract`. That saying couldn`t be more far from the truth.

"Tahlia and her goons are looking for ya, ya know" Ronny adds as she puts the cigarette out on the table top. "Says she`s gonna give ya what you deserve for the stunt ya pulled this mornin! what a funny show that was I tell ya!" we both laugh as we recall the events of this morning, I wipe a tear away from the corner of my eye as I remember the look on Tahlia`s face.

"She ain`t gonna touch me Ron. She`d be to scared that she`d break a nail!" I say seriously with a sly grin on my face. Ronny shakes her head at me as she clambers off the table to wrap her arm around my shoulders.

"I won`t disagree with you on that piccolo!"

When I was younger my mother use to tell me that if you had a problem with someone, rather then resorting to violence straight away, you should try and talk it out or find another way to resolve the problem. She’d always say there’s no reason to leave without a tooth or a gouged eye for no reason no matter the person with the issue.

Id always taken her advice on this one but today that went out the window.

”Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!”, people scream as they look at the two people trying to attack each other in the middle of the crowd that’s circulated around them just mere minutes ago.

I scowl as I watch one of the females claw at the other ones hair trying to take a chunk out of her fake extensions as the other girl tries to claw at the brunettes face with little to no success. The crowd gets smaller and rowdier as both girls are on the floor with the blonde on top with a grasp around the brunettes head bashing it into the grass like it’s concrete. I sigh and walk over and grab the blonde as I throw her off the brunette only to realise it was Laylanir on the ground with blood seeping from her head.

”Laylanir. I should have known you’d get into some type of mess. Trying to make a name for yourself as the trouble maker?” I ask her as I look down at her from where I was standing. I kick her boot lightly and give a slight chuckle as she sends daggers my way.

” I don’t need your help Lu!. You just had to step in and ruin everything. This b•tch stole something from me and I want it back!” She screams looking at the blonde who had now picked herself up.

”And what did I steal aye? Your goddamn pencil? Girl just get over it, it was just some dumb stupid glass case anyways and some dingy necklace and ring set. If you didn’t want it stolen, you shouldn’t have left your locker open in the first place then!” She says with the roll of her eyes.

The blonde then looks at me and her scowl gets bigger as I start slowly walking up to her making sure to step over any items on the ground left from the cat fight just minutes ago.

”Id suggest you give her all of the belongings you have stolen back otherwise you might find yourself in the hospital baby doll” I say low enough so only she can hear. Her eyes widen a bit with a flash of fear before it’s gone within seconds like it had never appeared.

”You wouldn’t dare” she seethes while clenching her teeth.

I smirk at her and grip her by the neck while grabbing her arm and twisting it behind her back while lifting up till I hear a popping sound, letting me know that her arms popped out of place. She screams in pain and thrashes back trying to get me to let go without any such luck. I lean over and ask again to give Laylanir back her stuff and she again refuses.

”Hospital here you come”.
