Unable To Level Up

Its eyes wavered tremendously as if it had seen an overwhelming being, and even its instincts told it to run immediately.

"Run like your life depends on it."

Was the only thing that the Flaming Bull could ever think of.

But due to my strength in groping its thick, triceratops-like head, fleeing was inevitable.

"Now, don't look at me like that." I grinned in a way where the monster could see my expression as similar to death from its point of view.

It shrieked, attempting to step back using its full strength, but due to our strengths being overwhelmingly unbalanced, It was futile.

As my other hand reached for its forehead, the flaming bull closed its eyes, and somehow I could hear it gulp.

Without hesitation, I punched it. Causing its thick head to explode like a bomb while blood showered all over the place.

[Notice: The Flaming Bull has been eliminated.]

[No Experience points have been gained.]

"Huh? Why?" I muttered after noticing that there weren't any experience points gained after defeating the flaming bull.

[Due to the massive level gap, Earning experience points became invalid.]

"What? So how am I supposed to level up then?" I asked through thought communication.

[Answer: By eliminating Monsters that are within level 2,000 or more.]

"But how am I going to encounter such monsters in this place? Are there any heavenly monsters roaming on the surface too?"

[Heavenly Monsters only reside within the Heavenly Realm, on the floating Islands.]

[Therefore, It is impossible for such creatures to lurk over the surface of the living realm.]

"I see. So leveling up is practically out of the question now, right?"

[Maybe.]

[I am not confidently sure since I have yet to analyze every living being in this world.]

"But still, maybe there are monsters stronger than those heavenly monsters living in this realm."

[Note: Heavenly Monsters are far more formidable than creatures living in the living realm, for they are beneath the Heavenly realm.]

"Yeah yeah, let's just forget about it and move on." I said, flinging off my hand, taking a glance at the flaming bull's headless corpse.

Looking at it, somehow I remembered that these types of corpses would have some delicious meat if I tried to cook them. Especially its size, which can feel like over ten bellies.

And so, I asked Grand about some things.

"Grand, Is it possible for me to put this thing inside my Inventory skill?"

Since I remembered that I had a skill called Inventory.

[Answer: Yes, and your skill, Inventory, has evolved into Spatial Void.]

[Skill: Spatial Void can store a lot of objects In its vast subspace.]

[In addition, Spatial Void has some Time alteration skill that enables the objects that are placed inside to not rot and turn unusable even if they are stored for more than 10,000 years.]

"Woah, that's a very reliable and useful skill. I guess I don't have to worry about this bull's corpse rotting." I said through thought communication.

Without further ado, I used the Skill: Spatial Void in front of the Flaming Bull's corpse.

A large, pitch-black portal-like structure opened beneath the corpse, making it fall into it like some sort of hole. After sucking the Flaming bull's corpse, It grew smaller and disappeared entirely.

[Skill: Spatial Void has successfully stored the Flaming Bull's corpse.]

Now that it's all settled, I should continue on my journey.

And so on, I ventured into the forest without any concern for my surroundings. Since I've got Detection, there was no way that Grand wouldn't be able to catch those lurking near me.

There were some monsters that Grand had detected, but after meeting me, they ended up running in an instant.

It's as If I were an obvious threat to their existence.

Could monsters somehow have the ability to check whether the opponents they meet are doable?" I wondered.

[Note: Monsters have a skill called Instinct Evaluation.]

[That skill allows them to make decisions that are based on their current prowess; opponents that overlap their prowess are considered threats to their existence.]

[Therefore, It is only natural for them to run after seeing such a formidable opponent as you, Master.]

"I guess? Well, let's not get bothered about it."

Time gradually passed, and I ended up reaching an active river streaming to the east.

After seeing its direction, I somehow concluded that there might be villages nearby if I followed the river's stream. But just then, after staring at the river directly, I saw my reflection, and it totally shocked the hell out of me.

"Grand! What is this? Why do I look like that?" I asked in a shocked manner after witnessing my face.

[Notice: It is because of your race's Evolution.]

[After becoming a Dragonoid, changes in appearance are only natural.]

My eyes, which were normal before, turned into a more horrifying one. My sclera, which was white before, turned pitch-black, while my pupils somehow became golden orange of some sort, and my iris turned dark red and somehow blended in with my pupils.

And after opening my mouth, I noticed that I had small fangs stuck in my canine teeth.

Other than that, my entire body seemed normal. And my white snowy hair grew a bit longer. Even after looking like this, I get the feeling that I look really handsome.

Is it just me, or do I really look good in this otherworldly appearance?" I mumbled in my head after staring at my reflection.

[Report: Skill "Detection" has detected five individuals near the east direction, 14 meters ahead.]

Individuals? Grand usually reports Monsters, but just to confirm it, I should ask.

"Individuals you say?"

[Answer: Yes, they are Individuals that are within the Human Race.]

The fact that Grand gave me the confirmation meant that my hypothesis was true. Without wasting any second, I ran in the direction that Grand had told me about.

"Run Rin!"

"There's a horde of them! How is it possible?"

"Use your skill, Lucas! Damn it!"

A horde of monsters known as Goblins were fast approaching behind the flustered five individuals.

Goblins are the size of an elementary school kid or so; they have green skin and pointy ears. Their intimidating eyes were golden red, and they also had two fangs coming out of their mouths.

Rin, the woman who had blonde short hair, beautiful slanted blue eyes, a sharp small nose, cherry-shaped lips, and wore a brown all-covered cloak, ran further forward than the other four.

Behind Rin was a guy whose name was Lucas; he had black pointy hair, sword-like brows, and intimidating eyes, along with a sharp jaw and well-cut beard. He wore clothing somewhat similar to a military uniform that seemingly looked casual while holding a sword in his right hand.

And behind Lucas were Rosalie, Tate, and Arthur.

Rosalie wore a very large hat with a pointy end; she had long red hair that reached her buttocks. She had beautiful radiant blue eyes, long eyelashes, a sharp small nose, and puffy cheeks. She was wearing a seductive thin dress that sort of made her look too fragile while holding a long stick that was referred to as a Mage's staff.

Tate was a guy with long black hair who was wearing a cloth on his face like some sort of ninja, partially covering his entire facial features. He also wore a cloak and was heavily armed with projectiles that were placed in every part of his body.

Arthur, the last guy who was close to getting murdered by the goblins, had very shiny golden hair that shone before sunlight; his golden eyebrows were as firm as his perfect jaw; and he had blue eyes, long eyelashes, and a sharp nose. He was wearing a plate armor that mostly covered his vital parts, and underneath was a long-sleeved white shirt. A scabbard was seen on his waist, while he had an excellent-looking sword in his right hand.

"Arthur! Do something about those goblins!" Tate yelled loudly while running for his life.

So much for being a ninja.

"What am I supposed to do in this kind of situation?" said Arthur, who somewhat acted composed despite the dire situation they were in.

"Kyaaa! There's more coming!" Rosalie excessively yelled, pointing at their west side.

Beyond the trees to which Rosalie pointed were a group of more goblins that rushed towards their location.

"Lucas! Can't you use your skill and blast them away!?" Rosalie uttered in a terrified manner.

Rin, who stopped running after seeing that there were more Goblins up front, shivered in her spot.

Lucas, Rosalie, Tate, and Arthur began feeling anxiously worried after realizing that they were completely surrounded by the goblins.

"But wait, the river! We can jump over there and escape!" Rin said, pointing at the river where Heinz was currently.

That's how they began running like crazy and jumping over the streaming river, where they ended up getting detected by Grand.

But still, they were followed by the goblins.

Now that they'd run out of breath, they stood their ground in a corner while performing a battle stance as they confronted the goblins before them.

The goblins held blunt weapons in their hands, and they wore some sort of garment that covered their genitals.

But the fact that the five individuals were cornered made them realize that this was their last day of living.

Or so they thought.

Just as the goblins were about to strike and the five individuals were prepared to fight them, a pressurizing aura filled with ominous emotion shrouded them entirely. The five people trembled and fell on their knees, while the goblins immediately ran like rabbits fleeing from their deaths.

Arthur, who, despite getting pressured by the unknown aura that just appeared, somehow was able to grasp a hold of himself and stand his ground.

Just as he turned around and took a glance behind them, a man of unknown origin, somehow the source for all the ominous aura that covered the entire area, was walking closer towards their location.

"What in the world is that?" Arthur uttered in fear, while the four who saw the person behind them stuttered and shivered tremendously after witnessing such a dense aura surrounding the man.
