Chapter XI "The Kingdom Of Blumund"

a catastrophe struck the whole world on the day of the disappearance of the three true dragons, everyone thought that the world is going to be destroyed

twenty days after the initial disappearance of the three true dragons, the Western Holy Church issued a report that as far as its investigations could tell all true dragons both no longer existed and showed no sign of existing anytime soon, Word spread fast, and the area around the Forest of Jura is a broad plain dotted with a large number of minor countries and everyone one of them felt danger because they were afraid of the monsters and the eastern empire that can now attack due to the disappearance of magicules released from the three true dragons,

Once that happened each one of them sprang to their feet, the proverbial hornet's nest stimulated to action. Every king and every minister of every nation held day after day of emergency meetings, gathering information and debating what to do next

in the country of blumund, This country is so small that all the nobles are feudal lords of villages. It is merely a country that comprises its royal capital. The capital is the only large city, and in the castle town lies the Blumund's Freedom Association Branch. The Blumund Kingdom is a kingdom of information, where Intel is up for sale. It's because it's such a small country, it would be immediately destroyed if it didn't regulate such information

in this kingdom a conversation happening between two childhood friends who can't act like they are because of their positions one of them is a Baron with the name of Veryard a minister of this small kingdom of Blumund and the other is Fuze He was the guild master for this kingdom and that granted him a lot of authority because the free guild that was started by Yuuki Kagurazaka they were a group that operated outside the framework of any nation and one far more unified than a single government and it was a fact that some of their operations occurred without the knowledge or consent of these nations that the guild is in whether the guild intended it to be seen that way or not is not known

but any individual that is associated with the free guild has to obey the rules of the country they are in and if ever there was a war happening to their home country they are obligated to return to it and help and they also get rewarded for it if that ever happens Such an order, of course, would apply only to guild members who belonged to Blumund and no other nation and that was the reason any person when applying to join the free guild that person joining has to state their home country

while a nation had the right to define its own mobilization period under this agreement, it was also obliged to give the guild a one-fifth discount on taxes collected during the entire period. This allowed governments to rapidly summon a powerful force, and the guild to make sure its members would not be obligated to the state for too much of their time, For a group like the guild, which was required to pay salaries to all deployed members in advance, it the obvious approach to take

it was a trying time for both of them but it was harder on the guild master Fuze, fuze was called that day to the private chamber to talk about what the hell in the world is happening and what action they should do about it

Veryard " Guild master Fuze nice to see you"

Fuze " nice to see you too the minster of blumund but I am currently busy as you can see so I would appreciate it if you got to the point quickly" fuze could swear that he has seen Veryard in front of him grow older by the second but there was no one here except the two of them

Veryard "I will get to the point what is the guild going to do now that the true dragons are gone"

Fuze "nothing"

Veryard slams the table and stands up while shouting "WHAT DO YOU MEAN NOTHING" takes a deep breath "sorry about that"

Fuze "no I understand, I had the same reaction when I first got the order from the letter that grandmaster Yuuki himself sent"

Fuze continues "this is the second time this ever happened the first was when demon lord carrion 'disappearance' a few months ago and one of the three Beastketeers took charge and from what he sent afterward it was lady Albis who became the leader of Eurazania"

Veryard "can't you do anything about it"

Fuze " I can do something about it for the right price of course but you can only ask me for an investigation other than that if you even pay me the whole kingdom I would not be able to accept"
