CHAPTER TWO : THE END FOR A NEW BEGINNING.

6 YEARS LATER.

It was a hot afternoon in the Fishers land, you could hear the kids playing, the kids came along with some of the fishers this day so they can play by the river, Amongst the fishers who came out this hour was Eden. It's been 6 years since he lost his best friend to the pirates, 6 years since his world changed for him, if only he knew things were only getting started for him.

Eden was lost in his thoughts as he stood by the river, watching the kids as they played, splashing water and sand around, their joyous cries, he remembered how it was with Fitz, a lady who came along to fish this hour called to him.

" Hey! Eden, you wanna go join them or what?"

Her name is Tasha and she was the beautiful lady right behind him.

She brought him back to a present that was a little far gone, a present he didn't want to return to.

" Alright, on it" He said to her with a tiresome look on his face that gradually got spirited with every step he took.

He went slightly far from the rest of the fishers to the undisturbed section of the river and casted his net, he was about removing his net, heavy for him, he groaned out and raised his head to the ends of the river to lift the net and right then he saw the pirates ship, moving in on them, unlike before, they were very quiet and faster, seems they had gotten much more advanced than the last time he saw their ships which was six years ago. He dropped his net back into the river and rushed to alert everyone, they hurriedly left all activities and ran back to the safety of their great walls.

Their walls are regarded as one of the strongest defense in the continent, it was so because 8 years ago, a 12 year old genius discovered a way they could better fortify their previous walls at the time, now the pirates are here again, they had every hope in their defenses but unlike before their war heads aren't smoke bombs, it was like lightning.

They fired the weapon and like a lightning bolt it phased through their walls and caused an electrical explosion too fast for their eyes to see it. In seconds the fishers land was consumed in flames, the resulting explosion threw many of them miles away from the central of the land, Eden was thrown off conscious into a lake close to the river where they fish. After a few hours Eden Woke up in the lake, all his body ached, he broke a few ribs and had plasma burns on his skin, he could barely walk, he crawled out of the lake, it was unlike anything he's seen or heard before, such destructive power so fast it consumed 3000 people and all their belongings, after a few hours it was still so hot that his tears quicky dried up on his face as he lost consciousness again.

3 HOURS LATER.

Eden opened his eyes and the pains he felt have reduced significantly, he was on some sort of carriage, being carried by a group of people, he tried to talk but he was told not to.

" Relax son, don't speak, you don't have to, we are from the healers land, you are the only survivor of this ungodly massacre, you were lucky, if we were an hour later you would've been dead, we need to take you to our land to complete your treatment before the scavengers come for the left of your land, please hang tight, further course of action would be discussed when you are fully recovered. Rest now, we have a long journey ahead of us." The lady who attended to him told him as she along with 2 other guys carried him on the carriage to the land of the healers.
