Terror Infinity: Monster

"Want to know the meaning of life? Want to live… a real life?" It all started with this unassuming message. Most people would ignore it, clicking ‘No’ by instinct more than careful consideration. But for those unfortunate enough to click on ‘Yes’, a whole new world unfolds before them. Several, if they are talented. All so they may experience… Terror Infinity.

-------------

Raising both arms, I emptied my mind, and gathered the Force.

Size matters not.

Strength matters not.

Speed matters not.

The Force permeates everything.

And the Force obeys me.

Kyuubi swung his arm at the nearby Shinobis and buildings, only to miss as he was raised several meters up. It did not stop there, however, as Kyuubi was lifted off the ground.

My entire body started trembling as I performed a feat so far beyond anything I had ever done before, yet I held on, even as I felt my every Midi-chlorian tremble.

Kyuubi seemed to instinctively know I was at the origin of this as he turned towards me, and roared at me, sending a blast of wind at me.

The slightest disruption would break my concentration and make me drop Kyuubi.

However, before the attack could reach me, Hiruzen's staff suddenly rapidly extended, slamming into Kyuubi and pushing him back rapidly.

Despite his size, without the ground Kyuubi couldn't do anything to stop as he was carried off the village's limits.

Quickly, Hiruzen's staff had extended too long to keep holding Kyuubi, and under his massive weight he continued on his momentum, crashing into a mountain some distance from the village.

I felt a little exhausted from the effort as I was only levitating on the spot now, instead of really flying, but I knew the fight wasn't over.

As he was standing on a roof, Hiruzen wasn't that far away from me as he asked, "Thank you for your help, Lord Alexander."

Pulling off a small smile, I replied, "I couldn't let the village that housed me so nicely to be destroyed now, could I, Lord Sarutobi?"

Hiruzen smiled slightly, before asking, "Do you have any idea of where Minato is?"

I nodded, replying, "He was fighting the one behind this attack. During our fight, Kyuubi's pause was because his connection to the one controlling him was broken, so he must have dealt with them."

Hiruzen sighed in relief, before asking, "So, Kyuubi is the last one to take care of?"

"It would appear so. Now, we should fight Kyuubi while he is outside of the village."

Hiruzen nodded, and looked down at some of the Jonin on the ground, commanding, "I want every Shinobi available to help save those injured. Lord Fourth, Lord Alexander and myself will be handling Kyuubi."

The Jonins below disappeared to do as they were told, while Hiruzen and I quickly moved in the direction we had sent Kyuubi flying.

Personally, I was rather satisfied with the evening for now. Not only had I gotten to test myself, I had also lessened the damage as much as I could.

In the original timeline, Kyuubi's first Tailed Beast Bomb, while sent away by Minato, had destroyed many buildings. His rampage had also been much more widespread, and even when he was pushed back out of the city, he destroyed every building in the way.

Now though, only the relative area where Kyuubi had appeared had been destroyed.

I didn't have a hero complex to save people, but I didn't want to simply leave people to die either.

As we ran for Kyuubi, I dropped to the ground as I was faster on the ground than in the sky with my current skill level, although I aimed to change that when possible.

Possibly because of his already rather advanced age, Hiruzen wasn't that much faster than me, so we stuck together as we ran for Kyuubi, and it didn't take us long to reach the fox, who was running towards us, or rather Konoha.

Seeing us sent him in a fit of rage though as he spoke for the first time, "Here you are!"

He swung his claws at us, which we dodged, and I unsheathed my blade, making a cut on his arm. It was big for me, but to him it was probably inconsequential. Still, that would drain some lifeforce out of him.

Kyuubi roared in response, ramming his entire gigantic body in an effort to crush me. But Hiruzen, who was in the air, threw a giant shuriken at Kyuubi, a Fuma Shuriken I believe it was called, and with a handsign it suddenly multiplied in several dozen giant shurikens.

Kyuubi was large, but even he felt the blow as the giant Shurikens pierced into him. The wounds weren't deep for a beast his size, but the dozen of new wounds happened to work perfectly with my Force Seed.

The Tailed Beast seemed to sense his lifeforce leaving his body too as he exclaimed, "Get this thing out of me!"

Having understood focused attacks weren't the way to go, Kurama started rampaging around, destroying everything around.

And indeed, it did start to get a little more complicated to dodge the attacks.

But Hiruzen was known as the God of Shinobi for a reason as several of his clones appeared around Kyuubi, and he released a large scale Ninjutsu of each nature, each hitting Kyuubi at full force.

Meanwhile, I chucked the trees and rocks around at Kyuubi, as my sword was pretty much useless against an opponent this size.

Kyuubi was a tough cookie though as he finally managed to get his first hits in, as a giant boulder was sent flying at me.

I only managed to slow it down before it slammed into me. Because of my increased resistance from Force Valor, I did not die from the giant rock, but I was still stunned for a second.

As for Hiruzen, he had been blasted away by one of Kyuubi's wind blasts.

With both of us down, Kyuubi did not immediately go for a follow up attack, and instead opened his mouth wide, gathering a Tailed Beast Bomb.

By the time I noticed it, it was already half formed, and I knew I wouldn't have the time to stop it.

Still, I couldn't let him launch that attack, so I used the technique I hated the most.

Pointing my hands at Kyuubi, purple lightning came out of my fingertips to slam into Kyuubi. His size was turned inconsequential as the lightning coursed through his entire body.

Force Lightning, one of the most famous Sith Abilities, was a powerful ability, but also one I really didn't like because it used lifeforce to power itself.

Unfortunately, even as I poured in a considerable amount of my own lifeforce into the technique, enough for me to feel weak, I only managed to cause pain to Kyuubi, and not stop him.

The Tailed Beast Bomb formed, Kyuubi suddenly swallowed it, only leaving a small gap targeted at us.

But right as the city-scale attack was about to reach us, I saw a flash, and I suddenly found myself somewhere different.

It was thanks to the Force that I realized I had been teleported a couple hundred meters away from Kyuubi, to safety.

Looking to the side, I saw Minato and Hiruzen, both safe.

Hiruzen looked seriously at Minato as he asked, "Was the perpetrator taken care of?"

Equally serious, Minato replied, "He fled. But I placed my mark on him. He pretended to be Madara Uchiha."

Hiruzen's eyes widened as he spurted out, "That's impossible!"

Minato nodded, "Yes, he doesn't fit the profile either. He didn't show any sign of old age, he looked rather young instead. But apart from a strange power, he wasn't very skilled or strong. His Sharingan makes him dangerous however."

Hiruzen seemed to understand what Minato was talking about. Minato probably didn't want to reveal the secret of the Mangekyo in front of me, so he didn't talk about it directly, but he said just enough for Hiruzen to pick up the clues.

Looking towards Kyuubi, who was looking around for us, he seemed to have seen us disappear, so I said, "We need to finish him and seal him back into Kushina."

Minato's expression dropped as he refuted, "Even if we do, she will die no matter what. And whens he does, Kyuubi will only reappear somewhere else, out of our control. We should seal him in someone else."

Hiruzen nodded in agreement, "Not many can carry his power however."

Minato looked grim as he nodded, "Only my son can become his new Jinchuriki."

I snorted at the two gloomy men and revealed, "No, put Kyuubi back in Kushina. As long as she holds on till Kyuubi is back in her, I will be able to save her life."

The two looked at me in shock, but Kyuubi had finally found us as he roared at us, firing a wind attack.

Slashing the attack apart, I heard Minato mutter, "We need to be quick then. Hold Kyuubi for a moment, please."

Neither Hiruzen nor I said anything as we ran Kyuubi, ready for round two.
