The purple eyed man was sitting at a table surrounded by what could only be designated as monstrosities, the creatures still wore the clothes of their human life as they slowly but surely died out, unable to endure the change their body had been put through, some of their appearance as humans still remained and this annoyed the well-dressed man profoundly.
After fleeing from his first carnage since his arrival, the man had decided to learn more about anomalies and the power harvested in this world, simply called anomalous energy or even just anomaly as well.
Some humans could use this energy and harvest their deepest strength, manifesting it through the use of it, the presences he had felt approaching back then must have been some of them.
The man that was neither an anomaly or a human went on to try and harvest the power granted to him, just like any other of his brethen, he must have been given something upon arrival, the man could mildly change the shape of his form but it was limited to a human appearance or that of his venerer appearance.
He had quickly come to realise that his true strength could be demonstrated by entering into contact with humans but their was an issue, he had a hard time figuring out how to use it effectively.
By touching a human or even an anomaly for that matter, he could convert them to his own, meaning that he could cause them to mutate into venerers but has could have been expected, they were too weak to endure a full transformation, he needed to caliber the output of his ability or else they would end up just like that family, monster that were lethargic and already on their deathbed.
Even when putting it down to the level that they retained some of their mind, they still died in the next thirty minutes without being able to do anything other than cry out and lay on the ground.
'Am I perhaps missing something?' he wondered as he grabbed the cheeks of one of them as he looked into what remained of the person's eyes.
"Either you lots are too weak to fit for it or I will need to look into my ability further" he spoke with an indifferent tone despite the cruel smile that made his way on his face, he crushed the head of his failed attempt and walked away through the walls as usual.
'If I want to test this ability further I will need someone who can resist a bit more than that, that way I should be able to get a better idea of what I am doing wrong' the being had now convinced himself that he was lacking in some way, he stared at his gloved hands before suddenly stopping and turning to look at something.
"You don't look like those mindless anomalies" spoke the reason for the sudden halt in movement.
Looking at the person speaking to him, the being realised that it was a human, one with a sizeable amount of anomalous energy but that had still managed to show up in front of him without being noticed.
"Do I look like an anomaly?" spoke the purple eyed being, with a deep lack of emotions on both his face and in his voice.
'That was a quick shift' thought the man who had spoken to him, the way this anomaly's aura had changed from what seemed like a very human way of thinking with underlying madness to that of a pure predator was a bit disconcerting.
Despite this, the man didn't show his surprise at all and continued to speak.
"Well, I guess you don't but you certainly have the feeling of one" answered the man, not quite understanding what the question had truly meant.
"Listen here, I have been gathering AAA anomalies such as yourself in the objective of subjucating humans under the rules of anomalies" spoke the man, his slightly frivolous way of acting staying intact despite the words he was spouting.
"Huh, I see, make sense" was all the well-dressed anomaly responded.
The human stayed silent for a second.
'He doesn't seem to care at all, I was certain he had sprouted into being only a short while ago with his sudden slaughter without thoughts' thought the man, he had betted on the fact that this anomaly would agree based on the fact that it didn't know much but had still been born with outstanding intelligence.
The man felt like he would need to try and build some sort of relation with this anomaly before offering anything else.
"What is your name?" questionned the man, perhaps he should have begun with that.
"..."
"My name?" spoke the anomaly back as he brought his fist under his chin as he thought of something.
'Does he not have a name?' wondered the man as he watched the anomaly think of something, a good sign that he hadn't outright refused to say anything.
"I guess you could call me Oarion" answered the anomaly with a slight smile that was somehow very chill inducing despite the normality of it.
"I see, my name is Izado, so what do you say about joining us?" the man asked, the both of them stared at each other in a deafening silence for a little while before the so-called anomaly spoke up.
"I do not mind, show me the way" he answered with the same smile as earlier except this time a perverse sentiment was felt, it was a mystery how these different sentiments appeared from the same actions.
The man was surprised by the lack of questions concerning the fact that he was a human but rolled with it and showed him the way, opening a door in the middle of dark alley, it had no business being here at all and as the door was opened, instead of revealing the same dark alley as it should have, it led to the top of a building.
"Say Izado, what does AAA means?" suddenly asked Oarion.
"Huh? You did not know? Well, it is quite the stupid abreviation but anomalies are classified from A to E by anomalies hunters and for special anomalies such as you, they use AAA, Anomaly Among Anomalies" responded the man.
"I see, so all of the anomalies you gathered are of that rank? How many are there?" he then continued his questions.
"Yes and there are three so far without counting you" he answered immediately.
"..." Oarion didn't say anything else.
"Oh and by the way, it's a bit late but welcome to this world, we are in the country of Japan were anomalies hunters are the most numerous" spoke the man with a grand tone.
Oarion was thinking deeply now and didn't respond to anything else the man said.
