Chapter 413: Bad News

"Kevin Cliff, you're playing me!" Thomas Winston's face changed.

"Over the years, Shadow and Hidden have had their fill of crossing swords. Just as well, members of Hidden have been complaining to me that the cases they get are too unchallenging, they're practically growing fleas from their idle days." Kevin slammed his glass down and rose from his seat, as if he was about to leave.

"Kevin Cliff, don't be too arrogant! Shadow might not necessarily lose to Hidden! I want to see how long you can protect her," Thomas Winston threatened him.

Kevin Cliff's lips curled coldly, "As long as I can live is how long I can protect her. You can try negotiating with King Yama to end my life early."

Having said that, he strode away.

In the private room, Thomas Winston smiled sinisterly, raising his glass to celebrate on his own.

"Boss, is it really Thomas Winston? Should we make him and Young Master Xavier take a DNA test?" Wester Welson said doubtfully, following behind.
