Chapter Fifty five

Delancy walked down the passageway with two vampires before her and two witches behind her. She knew exactly why Melanie had sent for her and she couldn't help but chuckle inside.

The vampires led them into a room where Melanie was waiting already. Unlike the other rooms, the room was small and the whole wall was filled with crystals. Melanie sat on her chair at the table with her legs crossed and her chin resting lazily on her knuckles. The table was set with different types of food and drinks, making Delancy know what she was up to.

"You can leave." Delancy said to the witches that accompanied her and they reluctantly walked out of the room along with the vampires, leaving Delancy and Melanie alone with Zion who stood like a pet behind Melanie.

"I'm so glad you could honor my invitation for dinner, Delancy. I hope I didn't disrupt any important moment." Melanie raised her head as she placed her hands on the armrest of her throne.
