Kia's mother opened the door with caution.
"Hi, how may I help you?"
Kia, in shock, knew the people who were standing in front of her doorway were Liv's parents.
"I believe you have Nialliv."
"Oh! Yes, she's here with us."
"Please tell her to come here right this instance."
Kia didn't know what she was supposed to do at this point, should she protect her? or should she just give in not wanting any problems with her family?
"Liv, Darling!-"
Before Gloria finished that sentence, Liv came out of Kia's room, already prepared to go back to her house and ready to face whatever awaits ahead.
"Good, now come on. Get inside the car."
Liv saw her brother with bandages covering him in pain, and that his nose bleed wouldn't stop.
Liv stepped outside of the house, turned around, and politely said goodbye to both Kia and her mother. Then, she went into the car with her mother while Liv's dad was telling her how he was deeply sorry for the burden being brought over.
"Such a...B*tch", spitted those words out after Liv's family left.
"Kia...what did I say about cursing?"
"What? It was appropriate."
"Ha...A scary man."
"The worst man and father ever."
"Kia,...don't say that. You don't know that."
"Well, I know very much well that he doesn't treat Liv like his own child."
"Oh?"
"Leave it be, mom. We can't do anything at the moment. But what we can do is have a meal."
"Alright, go and wait in the living room."
"Now that I thought about it, I'm so lucky I have you Mom!"
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah! Let me cook with you."
"My baby has grown."
"Haha...stop it, Mom. You know, sometimes I wish Liv had someone like you."
"Alright, that's enough praising, and let's make some food for your stomach."
----------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone was silence in the car, the father looked real mad, the mother expressed a different emotion which was sadness or worriedness, the brother was pissed and painfully hurt, and finally, Liv felt scared.
Once they arrived, Liv was pulled very harshly by her father and thrown to the living room floor.
"LOVE!, SHE'S JUST A LITTLE GIRL!"
"YEAH! A LITTLE GIRL WHO BEAT UP MY SON!"
"STILL DOESN'T MAKE SENSE FOR YOU TO BULLY YOUR DAUGHTER, YOUR CHILD!"
"GET OUT OF THE WAY!", shoved Liv's mother, Telina.
Liv was scared, tears coming out of her eyes out of fright. Everyone in the house was witnessing this; a maid, her brother, and her mother. Liv
As Mr. Elbas was about to hit Liv very hard with his bare hands, Ezra quickly rush over to cover for his sister, not to mention, the first ever time defending Liv. Therefore, Elbas hit Ezra instead; Ezra felt the pain, yet again.
Their dad eyes were now made out of terror.
"Dad...as much as I want Liv to feel the same pain I'd felt just today...she's still...I can't believe I'm saying this...-", Ezra turned around to Liv and gave her a little smiled.
It's been so long you'd ever treated me kindly like this , thought Liv.
"...- She's still family, still my sister..."
Elbas was shocked to have seen this.
"Fine...she'll be staying with her grandparents for the whole summer as your punishment.", their dad told Liv with his bold and deep voice; serious.
"What...", Liv was about to say something, but then remembered that she shouldn't be troublesome anymore.
Elbas left the room and inside to his home office.
Her mother felt proud and relief.
"Ez...-"
"No- we're not into calling each other nicknames phase yet."
"Alright..., thank you..."
"Yeah, whatever. I still don't forgive you for beating the shit out of me."
"Then why did you tell dad to stop?"
"Okay, that's it, bye!" , after saying this, Ezra went into his room and her mother helped Liv get up and led her to her bedroom. And then, her mother quickly went to the office where Mr. Elbas went.
Liv, at that moment, felt rather very enlightened, and not terrified at what she had just experienced. She was, of course, not really happy about having to stay at grandparent's house as they were also strict, however, not at all like her dad, and because, she'd be away from Kia as well.
She grabbed her backpack and took out her book again.
Dear Diary,
This is eventually the third time I'm writing on this day, and it is very
unusual...However, I believe I wrote in different timelines so, guess it
proves that anything could happen during those little times. Alright,
as for keeping you updated, considering the incident at the arcade
had happened and passing out suddenly and having been at Kia's
house, my father barged in and took me to the mansion instantly, not
to mention, very harshly. He was about to hit me, but a sudden miracle
happened. This is very rare to see this as my brother rushed in to
cover for me. As a result, I wasn't physically hurt but I'll have to spend
my whole boring summer at grandparents'. I'm still amazed by
this...Having experienced all the positive and negative feelings in one
day, overall, it was a pretty great day; I did great on my final test, had a
good time with Kia, at least, my relationship with my brother is
beginning to improve...Thus, today was good though I had been
emotionally damaged..."") Guess I don't even know what I'm writing or
what to write anymore, let's just stop here for today; I promise there
won't be a part 4 for today- It's practically evening now...I'll go straight
to bed after I have this snack Kia and I bought at the mall this
afternoon. Bye!
-Liv
And just like that, Liv went to bed overthinking about what her future holds with the wind breezing towards her from the opened-window. Liv thought of having felt something about to burst from inside her head when her dad was scolding her, however, stopped because Ezra protected her for the very first time in all his and her life while sleeping.
D'you think the siblinghood is going to be fixed? Well, I don't know. You'll see though.
Bye~~~~
