Evo's POV

"What you did was too dangerous, Evo!"

I saw Kaycee when she told Sir Eduard what happened earlier. And as expected, it was angry. He and Bella were the same, as was said. I begged Kaycee not to tell Sir Eduard everything, but she did it anyway. He reasoned I wouldn't do that again the next time I encountered my stalker.

"I know," I said. I was looking away from Sir Eduard.

I heard Sir Eduard's gasp. "Evo, I don't want to replace your parents, but you are part of my team. You are out there, and your life is in danger. Do you think I'll just let something happen to you under my watch? Being reckless won't get you the answer you want. Everything has its right time, don't give in to the gust of emotions."

"I'm sorry," I said.

"You don't need to apologize," said Sir Edward. "What you have to do is think before you act. Think about everything you do."

"I understand," I said, then grabbed the back of my head.
