"Evo, you'll need to know this. Mildred isn't your mother. My sister Camilla is Bella's mother and your father's best friend."

"What?" My voice got louder as I said how surprised I was. "What are you saying, sir?"

As I stood in the room, I was suddenly pulled to the bathroom door, where Uncle Mikel was making himself known. "I heard you screaming from the outside. You're okay?" Uncle Mikel looked at my phone for just a second. "Who are you speaking with?"

"Don't tell him anything," Sir Eduard said from the other line.

"My friend's uncle. They're just making me jealous that they went out of town." I gave a soft laugh in a weak attempt to hide the nervous tremble about to give me away.

"Oh, is that so?" Uncle Mikel just smiled and went to the bathroom.

"Can we talk using your ability?" Sir Eduard asked from the other end of the line.
