The Escape (2)

Evo's POV

"Bella!"

Bella gave the two men a quick kick. "Evo!"

I was surprised when Bella threw the gun. "You want me to shoot them?"

"Crazy! Dismantle the gun!" Bella said.

"Oh, okay!" I couldn't do it quickly. I had mastered the art of dismantling the gun, but I was struggling due to my fear. Shit! I immediately threw the bullets into the river, and Bella did the same with the other gun. Later, we saw other men with guns in the distance.

"What the heck? Why are there so many of them?" Bella asked me.

"I have no idea."

Bella grabbed my hand and quickly pulled me away from the place. The people we met knew who I was, and their numbers were counting. It seemed as though everyone there was aware of my presence. Every time we walked by, people would call out my name. Bella and I hastily hid behind the water tank in the public restroom.

I even turned around to see if anyone was still following us.
