Evo's POV

"Hey, Carla, let's go." The man grabbed her hand and pulled her out the door. It was as if Carla woke up from a nap and looked at her boyfriend.

"Yeah, let's go. There's no point going on here." Carla said.

Kaycee let them go out the door, but they were surprised when the police car stopped in front of the house. They stepped back, the man blocking his body in front of Carla. Sir Eduard's group exited the car and stood before the two. Another group from the forensics department went straight inside the house.

"We're not doing anything wrong," said the man.

"You're Cedrick, aren't you?" Sir Edward asked.

The man did not answer. Sir Eduard approached him, but he was looking at Carla.

"You can't leave. You're under investigation here, Carla."

"What?" Carla said this in shock. "Investigation? Those teens are just making trouble in our house. Look at my granny. She got sick because of what they were saying."

"Carla, those three are investigating," said Sir Edward.
