The first month of academy had flown by like that. Leo had attained complete comprehension in Basic combat, though the system had not giving Leo a new technique to learn.

Leo had made the virtual pod his second home during the one month, whenever he was free he would immediately head for the virtual pod, his kills gad increased by a huge margin. He could take down ten Terrors easily, and fifteen if he got serious. He had gotten addicted to fighting basically.

Another progress that Leo had made was that Sasha now had a pale blue aura, meaning they were becoming friends.

Leo had just finally being killed inside the pod. When he stepped out he checked his status.

It had taken him a month but he was finally close to opening the system shop. Today was a Friday, so he was going to make level 10 tomorrow. Leo left the virtual room, he was heading to his room, on his way there he saw a face that he kept at the back of his mind for the whole month, you could even say this person was one of the reason he had pushed himself during this month. It was Luke.

When Leo reached Luke, he greeted as you would greet a close friend.

"Hey Luke, long time no see."

Luke looked at Leo with his usual disdain.

"Mid- terms test are starting next week, it's going to be another opportunity to show myself better than you." Luke said coldly before walking away.

"What the fuck is his problem?" Leo said before beginning to walk, ahead he saw Sasha.

"You are still at it with Luke?" Sasha asked as soon as she reached Leo.

"It's just healthy competition." Leo responded with a smile.

"Just be careful, Luke is more than meets the eye."

"Yes ma'am." Leo responded in a respectful, but teasing manner.

"Sigh, why do I even care?" Sasha said before walking away.

Leo sat on the bed in his room, when he heard a knock on his door. Leo opened the, and what he saw stunned him. Grey was in-front of the, barely able to stand. Grey was badly beat-up, with his uniform torn, and dirty. Leo quickly supported him, and brought him inside.

Leo placed Grey down on a chair, he walked to his bed and sat down, and he looked at Grey.

"Are you going to explain, or not." There was a hidden anger within the voice, both of them had grown really close over the month.

Grey tried avoiding eye contact with Leo.

"I just got into a fight, with a student." Grey said.

"You seriously expect me to believe that? Even if you are not one of the strongest in the class, but your strength is still very much enough to stand against most students, so there is no way you would end up like this." Leo spoke calmly, but the anger in his voice was increasing.

Leo suddenly had a speculation, so he asked.

"Was it Luke Silva?"

As soon as he asked the question, Grey's body unconsciously flinched. Leo saw this, and drew his conclusion.

"What did he do?" Leo asked while grinding his teeth, he could already tell Grey was beat up because of him.

"Leo, don't worry it was just a miss-under---."

"DAMN IT GREY. Don't lie to me." Leo roared.

Grey dropped his head.

"Luke and two guys met me, he wanted me to tell him about your growth over the last month. I was quite unlucky because the location we met had no cameras. Luke demanded that I also tell him anything that could help him dominate you. Long story short, I refused and got beat-up badly."

Grey finished his story, he could see Leo trying to suppress an outburst. Leo stood up walked to a wall, he threw a full powered punch at the wall.

'BAAM' His fist collided with the wall leaving a crack, and Leo's hand bleeding. Leo turned back to face the shocked Grey.

"Grey, I promise I will pay Luke back a hundred fold, but I need your help."

Grey simply nodded in agreement.

"Get me as much information as you can about the mid-term's test, I will need it to plan the revenge."

Leo help Grey dress his wounds, then he accompanied him to his room.

Leo came back to his room, he went to the mirror.

"Very good Luke, you just drew the line." Leo said as he gave a sinister smile, any-one who saw this would wonder if Leo was possessed by an evil spirit, as nobody had ever seen this side of him, it was a side that was birthed when his mother died, a malicious yet hidden side of Leo, that would probably go to any length to get what it wants. Ever since he got the Tech Demon System, that part of him had been forcefully trying to surface, and now Luke had triggered it. Leo was happy that Grey did not chicken out at the thought of revenge, he thought Grey would not want to retaliate against someone from a powerful genetic family, but it seems he was wrong." "Just wait Luke, I will show you the depts. of fear."

And as if acting as a trigger.
