THE FORBIDDEN FOREST

Amanda enters the room and, grinning, says:

"Of course, I understand that you are madly in love with my bed, but have a conscience, since you constantly sit on it, correct it after yourself. And by the way, an owl flew to you."

Amanda hands Paige a small box, and she sits at the table and scribbles a letter with unusually fast motor skills.

The Muggle girl raises the box in front of her and looks questioningly at her friend Will. She, without saying a word, makes a gesture with her hand, palm up, which means "Please."

One of my friends opens the package. It turns out that there is a bottle of potion and a letter, which she begins to read to herself.

Meanwhile, the sorceress is scribbling.

When Paige finishes reading, she silently looks at Amanda, then at Will. The latter understands that there is something secret in the letter.

Miss Baden does not make you wait. She jumps off her chair and gallops to the owlery to post the letter she's just scribbled. As the door closes behind her, Paige says:

"Sabrina and Enie sent a potion with which we'll can fly on a broom, - she smiles, - now we have a chance to be on the team. It's great, right?"

"Yes, it's wonderful!" Will's indifferent face immediately becomes interested, and she is even delighted.

The girls don't want to wait for the next training session of the team and therefore decide to immediately find a captain. To do this, they go into the living room, where, as always, a real beehive.

"Do we know who the captain is?" Paige asks.

Her friend also thinks:

"Look, there's Seamus. He seems to be on the team. Seamus!"

The boy turns around.

The girls come closer and ask who is the captain of the Quidditch team.

"Harry."

"Where is he now, could you tell us?" Paige asks.

"Of course, he's over there by the fireplace."

"Thank you very much," the girls say.

"Not at all," Seamus shrugs.

Harry flips through the Daily Prophet.

"He has such interesting glasses," Paige points out.

Will agrees with her.

The friends walk over to the fireplace and stand by, waiting for Harry to notice them. The boy, no longer finding anything interesting in the newspaper, folds it into a tube.

"Hello. We heard that you are the captain of the team," Paige starts the conversation.

"Yes. Do you want to play?" here same understands Harry.

"Yes, - Will nods. - I'm Sabrina."

"And I'm Enie."

" Harry. Nice to meet you. Excuse me, but the selection has already been, if you want, you can come to play for training."

"Thank you. We'll be there," Will says.

Harry ruffles his hair and the scar on his forehead becomes visible.

"Look, he has a scar like Harry Potter-ah," Will says in amazement, tugging at Paige, who is standing with her mouth open.

"Well, I'm actually Harry Potter," Harry smiles.

"Are you real?" Will doesn't believe.

Paige finds herself speechless and holds out her hand. The friend continues to tug at her.

"We've heard so much about you, it's nice to finally meet you."

Harry shakes hands with Paige.

"Me too," he says politely and wants to take his hand away, but the Muggle grips it with a death grip.

Harry begins to tug his hand softly, hoping to free it.

"If… - he jerks his hand, - you don't have your brooms…- he jerks again, - you can…- he tries to free himself again, - take…- he opens the fingers of Paige, who doesn't move at all and even resembles a statue, - ... the school's."

Harry breathes a sigh of relief as he unclenches the girl's wrist, then looks at Will in bewilderment as she keeps her eyes on him and crumples her friend's robe, but Paige obviously doesn't notice it.

"Actually, training will be tomorrow. Come."

The girls nod without blinking. Harry goes to Ron and Hermione.

"They're funny," Potter says, looking around at the girls.

"More like strange," Hermione says, and turns back to her essay on numerology, which is unreasonably long.

After lunch, everyone goes to Hogsmeade for the first time this year.

"Don't forget to show your permissions from your parents," Hermione reminds.

"Miss Radcliffe, - Professor McGonagall says, - I haven't seen your permission yet. And your Miss Grint too."

"Don't you have it?" Will asks.

"No. And, unfortunately, without them, you won't be able to go with everyone to Hogsmeade."

"But… we are already prepared. Believe me, our parents do not mind," Will persuades.

"Sorry, I can't," Professor McGonagall says adamantly.

"But we are the last year students, adults already."

"I will write to your parents and if everything is as you say, they will send permission. Then next time you can go."

"No need!" shout girls.

"I remembered, they seem to be,- Paige says hastily, - I have somewhere in my things ... I need to look."

"I'm afraid you won't have time now, we're already leaving. Girls next time," the professor spoke softer than usual.

Fits Hermione.

"Everyone is here. We can go," she reports to McGonagall.

Everyone leaves and the Gryffindor common room is empty. The Muggles head to their room.

"Let's really look for permissions in Sabrina and Enie's things,- Paige suggests, - maybe they really are in there."

"Yeah, we can't have Professor McGonagall write to parents," Will agrees.

"Suddenly it turns out that they didn't allow it, - Paige grins maliciously and adds, - it would turn out that you are lying."

"And I don't know Enie and Sabrina's parents, maybe I meant ours."

"Especially it turns out that you were telling a lie," Paige continues to be sarcastic.

"Why? Our parents don't know at all that we're here and even more so about Hogsmeade, it turns out we can permit for ourselves."

Will is a little silent, but when he and a friend enter the room, he says:

"I miss my mom and dad."

"Me too. That's the way it should be."

"And for the dog Mary ..."

Friends sit on the floor, and all the available things are laid out around.

"You know, Will, I wanted to tell you."

"Speak."

"Don't write excellently on tests. And then something you have recently completely leaned on your studies. Even at our school, you've never been so zealous."

"I like it here, Paige."

"Me too, Will, but you know, we shouldn't show brilliant theoretical knowledge, because we won't be able to show practical knowledge."

Paige looks through the parchments, Will everything else.

"Sorry," the latter sighs, putting the folder aside."

"And me. I want to be part of the magical world," Paige says dreamily.

"And I already have. Only I didn't know about it."

It's sunny and warm in Hogsmeade right now, so much so that even Harry took off his hat. Ron, Hermione and Ginny are walking by. They are just walking around.

"They say they brought silt tree resin from the Lanhalla mountains here,- Ginny says. - Let's go to Rosmerta, let's taste?"

"Yes, well, disgusting! - Ron grimaces. - I tested Billy's."

The sister looks at her brother questioningly.

"You didn't want to go then."

A snowball flies from the side and crashes into Ron's forehead, then another one flies and falls into Harry's ear.

George and Justin Finch-Fletchley emerge from behind the trees.

"Well, it's all war!" Harry shouts and launches a snowball.

"Well, keep it up!" Ron picks up.

Ginny and Hermione also join in. The snow is sticky and wet. A few more guys join in and throwing around becomes more fun.

"That's not fair," Ginny laughs as George and Seamus are thrown at her at the same time.

She dodges one, but the second hits her leg.

" Get it!" Ginny throws a snowball at the boys, but they both dodge.

And then Hermione shakes everyone off with a spell of her own making. And the guys go to try the resin.

Rozmerta's is full of people, however, there is a table for the company.

"Looks delicious," Ginny says appraisingly and looks at Ron, who is making a face.

The girl is tasting. Resin is drawn in long streams. Her friends look at her expectantly.

Ginny addresses her brother:

"Ron, that's good, isn't it?"

"But I don't like it," he grimaces once again.

After a while, there are too many people, and friends decide to spend the rest of the time outdoors. They just wander around.

And friends Will and Paige stray among the exorbitant amount of things of the sorceresses Enie and Sabrina.

"Look. I wonder what it is?" Paige asks.

"I have no idea."

Paige puts the incomprehensible thing aside.

"I found it, I found it! - she exults. – Sabrina's permission."

It lies in the sock.

"It's her style, - Will says. - I also found Enie's permission. It's in the textbook."

"Great! And now I think we need to discuss something."

"Harry Potter, - Will guesses. - Just don't here. Better on openair."

On the way, they do not meet any of the students, only Filch, when they go down the stairs. He looks at them disapprovingly, but says nothing.

"Apparently we are the only ones left of all the seniors," Will states with a sigh.

They stop at a willow that sways weakly.

"I can't believe it,- Paige shakes her head. - It just doesn't fit in my head."

"But I believe because I want to believe."

Paige recollects:

"Then you have to be very careful. If all this is true, there are many dangers."

As she speaks, she comes close to the willow, which is lashing its branch with force. But doesn't reach out Paige, although if the girl had stood half a step closer, the tree would have overtaken its goal.

Muggle is scared.

"Is it alive?"

"Step back to a safe distance."

Paige picks up a stone from the ground.

"But what if it's not a stone at all?" she jokingly suggests.

"No, it's just a stone."

Will, taking it from the hands of her friend, throws it back over his shoulder. And accidentally falls into a willow, which immediately stops moving and freezes.

Paige cautiously approaches her and sees something like an entrance.

The Muggle girl, no longer afraid, comes quite close and looks inside.

"Wow!"

"What is there?" Will perks up.

She runs up and wants to look over Paige's shoulder herself, but, without calculating a little, she accidentally pushes her friend. She, feeling that she is falling, begins to cling to Will, and they both fall into the tunnel, rolling along it with a screech.

Paige accidentally crushes Will's leg as she falls, who in turn accidentally elbows her in the stomach.

At the end, one falls on the other.

"Where are we?" Will looks around.

"There's a door in here," Paige says.

"Behind it, danger may be hidden and it is not advisable for us to go there."

The Muggle girls look at each other, smile slyly and rush to the door. Paige opens it up a little. It lends itself easily. Friends look into the crack.

"There's no one there. We can go," states Paige and completely open the door.

It opens with a creak. Paige and Will stop at the door. Before them appears not a very large room with exorbitant kilograms of dust. It is empty, only in the middle is a broken piano. Yes! This is a Shrieking Shack.

Friends go into the room. Paige walks around the piano and says:

" Were the fights without rules hier?"

Will runs his hand over the dusty piano.

"Something definitely happened," she says and tries to play the surviving keys.

Silence, they don't make a single sound.

Paige has found another door and opens it. A rich ray of sunshine pours into the room. Outside are white trees. Friends leave the hut.

"Wow! Yes, this is a forest," one of them is amazed.

"Maybe Hogsmeade isn't far," her friend rejoices.

"Get under that tree," Paige says.

Will obediently approaches the trunk. The second one kicks a tree and snow falls on them.

"Oh, how great!" Will says.

They run to the next one. And the snow falls again in fluffy silver.

Will falls on the snow cover and lifts the snow with his hands and feet. Paige runs among the trees and also throws snow up, laughing merrily. He lays down dust particles back.

Noise is heard nearby. Will gasps looking in that direction, and quickly gets up. Without shaking off, she runs to her friend.

"Paige, run!" she screams with hysterical notes in her voice.

A rushing centaur appears from behind the trees. Undisguised hatred burns in his eyes.

Will runs as fast as she can, but the centaur still catches up with her. He grabs the girl by the scruff of the neck on the run, and Will is already running through the air. Then she twitches in fear.

"Run!" Will screams.

Paige stands stock still, not knowing what to do.

Meanwhile, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, George, Seamus and Dean are walking around Hogsmeade. Justin is with them too.

"Hello," Luna approaches them, her scarf unwound.

Right in front of the company, a house-elf appears, he holds the girl by the hand. Dean has to back away quickly, otherwise they would appear right on top of him.

When the transfer ends, the guys recognize the girl.

" Enie?" they were surprised.

"Go. Go get Will soon, she's there," Paige's voice breaks.

"Cinny can't. There is a centaur. Cinny wanted to move to the school to call the teachers. Stupid Cinny got it mixed up in a hurry. Cinny is going to school now."

"It will be a long time, - Hermione stops him, - and it's not yet known whether you will find teachers right away."

"Of course, we'll go," Luna smiles and, with her calmness, takes Cinny's hand.

George rushes to pick up Paige.

"How many are there?"

"One… she was running… and he… Help Will."

"Who is this, Will?" Seamus asks.

Paige realizes what she blurted out.

"Will? No, there is Sabrina."

They all take hands and move out.

Once there, they have to run after the centaur. And then transgressing, they surround him.

"One more step and the girl will not be healthy!"

The centaur still holds her by the collar. Will screams out loud.

"Just let her go and we'll leave," Ron demands.

Wizards keep their wands ready.

"There are more of us," Dean says.

In response, the inhabitant of the forest laughs.

"Do you think I'm afraid of some little ones?"

"If so, then we are children, and you don't touch children," Harry says.

"Come on, who'll know?"

"Hey, skinny,- George says, - you'd better do what we ask."

"Say goodbye to your friend."

"Don't dare!" Paige screams.

Will stops screaming and calms down.

"Siliment!" Hermione screams.

"Imenciatus!" shouts Luna.

Hermione's spell hits the centaur in the arm, and Luna glues his eyes shut.

The evil creature of the forest, vaguely guessing where Will fell, is trying to trample she with its hooves. Harry rushes to the foot. The enemy is very close, and the wizard throws him back with a spell. At this time, the rest also are shooting spells.

Harry picks up the muggle girl and everyone transgressing to the school gates.

"Thank you!" Will exhales.

"Welcome!" the guys answer.
