Chapter 6 - Bullfighting a manticore (1)

Bullfighting is a physical contest that involves a bullfighter attempting to subdue, immobilize, or kill a bull, usually according to a set of rules, guidelines, or cultural expectations. Exactly what I am about to perform is a Spanish-style bullfighting or something similar. As the manticore shows almost the same characteristics as they attack moving objects or maybe not but whatever it was I was going to get out of this arena alive.

So the first step in bullfighting is Tercio de Varas. In this step the matador carefully observes the bull. As a manticore is a mythical creature who has the head of a man, the body of an animal and the sting of a scorpion it is extremely dangerous so when I fight with it I have to watch out for its claws and it's poisonous stinger.

Stage 2: Tercio de Banderillas. In this step the matador tries to plant dart-like sticks known as banderillas  onto the Bull's shoulder these weaken the ridges of neck and shoulder muscles and causes blood loss. This causes them to be aggressive and further causes blood loss. If I try hitting the neck or shoulders of the manticore it is going to be instant KO for me so here is the part where I am going to need support.

Stage 3: Tercio de Muerte. In this stage the bullfighter kills the bull. It's not a sight to behold as it's still killing a living being. So I have to end it's life by either piercing my sword in its heart or slice of its head or if things go wrong I have to slowly slowly cut of its limbs and kill it by heavy blood loss.

Even though killing is bad it is either kill or be killed motto I have to follow. Well whatever is the fate that awaits me is, I just know one thing, the red sand is soon doing to be dyed bright crimson.
