- Unexpected Trouble part Three

After accepting two hunting missions from the adventurers guild Irvin and Lucian headed towards the gate

"Hey kid , you sure its a good idea to do these missions at the moment" Irvin asked concerned

"Sure it is" Lucian answered back nonchalantly

He knew why Irvin was feeling uneasy , those guys would definitely not let it go just like this so they would most likely try and do something about it outside the city since they didn't want to get in trouble with the city guard

But he didn't really care , whether they did something or not Lucian could care less , if they wanted to tempt fate and play with their lives that was completely their choice to make

"I'm not worried about you , its me I'm worried about I don't want to end up in jail just because they think I helped you" Irvin said , this time making sure he clarified his worries

He was sure the kid could take care of them with his eyes closed , what he wasn't sure of though was that he wont be blamed along with the kid if he managed to get caught doing something he shouldn't

"Hahaha" Lucian laughed at Irvin's remark

"Then if it comes to it , I won't get caught then" he said with an obviously fake serious tone

Irvin watched as Lucian didn't take any of this seriously and kept joking around , is this how the strong act he thought

Treating everything they consider beneath them as nothing but a joke , I wonder how it feels to be strong and live carefree like they do he told himself as he watched the young man next to him walk in the most carefree manner possible not even willing to let the incident that happened just moments ago bother him

After reaching the outer gates , Irvin stayed right outside the gates where the guards could see him at all times just like Lucian had told him and waited

Dale watched as Lucian and the old man arrive at the front gates just like Allen had guessed , but was surprised to see only Lucian heading towards the forest as the old man stayed behind

"What are they up to" he said quietly

It doesn't matter I don't care about that worthless old man , as long I can rip that fuckers eyes out ill be satisfied Dale thought as he quickly followed Lucian behind stealthily

Lucian started searching around Red Wood forest for a Tusked Boar looking to quickly complete Irvin's first mission

"Ahh , the first few hours are going to be a pain"

He needed to get used to the forest and remember most of the paths he takes so he can start doing future missions even faster

After a couple of minutes searching around the forest he finally found a Tusked Board , one of the two missions required for him to bring an entire carcass of this boar undamaged as possible , so he had to use his hands to pummel the boar to death

He picked up a small rock and threw it in the opposite direction alerting the boar and making it look at the rocks landing location , as soon as the boar looked away he lounged towards it with a quick burst of speed reaching it in seconds

And proceeded to kick the boar in its underbelly with everything he had , when his kick landed Lucian could hear a crunching sound as his foot continued to push even further until the boars feet no longer touched the ground lifting it a good meter in the air

The boar squealed in pain from the heavy kick as even some blood came gushing out of its mouth , but Lucian wasn't done as he clasped his hands together and viciously hammered down on the boars back with every inch of strength he could muster

The snapping sound of the boars back was heard as it crashed on the ground from the heavy hit killing it instantly

It seems Lucian had underestimated the strength this new body possessed he was expecting a bigger challenge , considering the size if this boar he thought that it would be a bit more difficult to kill without using magic

"It seems ill have to test the limitations of this body"

Lucian found this to be a problem because if he didn't know what his own body is capable of he might end up killing somebody by accident , the incident earlier was a good example of that , as he could of easily killed that muscle brain if he had used slightly more strength

He picked up the boar and started heading back in order to deliver it to Irvin

Right after Lucian disappeared from the area someone else appeared

"What the hell did I just witness"

Dale asked himself as he recalled the scene he saw just a couple of minutes ago , he saw the kid kill a Tusked Boar with two hits with force so strong he could hear the boars spine shattering all the way from the place he was hiding

"This kids a monster" he said as his expression grew darker

Not even Kraig or Bale would be able to kill the boar in two hits bare handed , don't even mention breaking bones as even with a weapon it would be hard cutting through them since they have an extremely heavy and hard bone structure

He was starting to doubt weather following thought with Allen's plan was a good idea considering what he just saw

"No" he said as he shook his head trying to remove these thoughts

It was only one kid while they were four , with a good ambush the kid won't even know what killed him. Dale was annoyed that he even thought of backing out from this , he looked at his tracking bracelet that all four of them wore in order to track each other in case something happened and they were separated

He saw that Allen and the rest had finally started moving towards him which meant Kraig was fully healed

"Good , time to pay this kid back in full" he said as he dashed towards Lucians direction , making sure he doesn't lose track of him

Back in the city Allen , Bale and Kraig were walking towards Dales location

"Dale is coming back towards the city , did something happen?" Bale asked as he watched Dale's signal getting closer to the city by the minute

"Unlikely , Dale was raised a tracker since he was little not even an A rank adventurer would be able to find him" Allen answered back

What's going on , why is that kid returning to the city so fast was Dale really found out he thought , no impossible if he had to say what he was most confident in his party's group it would be Dales ability to track

"Then , is the kid coming back to the city ?" Bale asked again

"Most likely" Allen answered

"Then how am I supposed to cave that kids head in if he enters the city!" Kraig hissed with rage as he tried to keep his voice down

He would pay that snarky kid back for breaking his arm and humiliating him like that in front of his friends , Kraig prided himself as the strongest in his group regardless of what Bale said , and being knocked unconscious like that by a little brat hurt his pride

Allen looked at Kraig and knew what he was thinking , this guy has been like this all his life he prided himself as the strongest so he would always take the role of the front man or bait in situations , so getting his arm broken and knocked unconscious by a little kid must have hurt his pride

"Don't worry you'll get your chance , just be a little patient and an opportunity would present itself" He said trying to comfort him a little as he looked at his bracelet coldly
