Chapter 6

Mia woke up very early because it was the day for her first time in her new job and she don't want to be late. lWhen she was ready,she woke up her two friends and told them she's going to work and didn't wait for their reply.

She left and reached work.very early and she was brought to her new department.She was the only one there because her teammates are not here yet.She looked around her new department till her teammates kept coming one after the other.After everyone has arrived,they welcomed Mia to the department.

They were seven in the department including Mia.She noticed she was the only female in her department and was shy.

  Lincoln the team leader walked up to her and shook hands with her.Lincoln couldn't believe how beautiful she was and started developing feelings for her.They introduced themselves before her,they were;Noah,Oliver,Elijah,William and James.She was so happy her teammates were nice to her and didn't treat her indifferently because she's a female.Mia was told to bring her files to the receptionist to make sure there's no error,on her way going she met Liam at the elevator door.Liam was shocked to see this troublesome but beautiful girl in his office Breaking the akwardness,he asked"what are you doing here"then Mia replied "how does it affect you".They argued until a worker greeted Liam"good morning CEO"and to Mia"good morning Miss"which made Mia to be paralyzed the moment she heard CEO and looked up to him.

     When Liam saw her reaction,he smirked and left Mia there.When Mia came back to reality,he was no longer there and she started panicking in her mind because there's a probability she's going to lose her job when it was just her first day.She went to her department silently and went to her seat in the department.She didn't talk to anyone in her office throughout that day.Even when Lincoln was trying to make her talk but didn't get a respond because she was deeply lost in her thought. When it was time for her to go home,she left hurriedly and accidentally bumped into Liam.She silently cursed her fate for always meeting this man.She said sorry and was about to move when his hand blocked her from moving forward she raised her head and saw her so called boss who she knew hated her because of the way they came across each other.Then breaking the silence between  them,Liam said"why are you in such a rush?"She didn't know what to say because she can't say it was because of him,When he didn't get any respond he asked again now leaving her dumbstruck,"how can the CEO of such a bug company be less busy to ask her a question like this"she asked herself she couldn't ask him in order not to provoke him any other.She wasn't able to come up with anything and suddenly she said"it's because of you".She didn't know what gave her such courage to say something like that but she didn't know her respond made him out of words.

       Before he could say anything else,she ran out of the building making him speechless yet again.He didn't know that one minute she will be so brave and another she will be timid.
