My girls jumped on my body nearly knocking me down.
"Easy girls," I chuckled settling each of them in my arms "I wasn't expecting this sort of reaction, it seems you all missed me,".
"Of course, Daddy," Maeve pouted "We were just telling Mommy the other day if she could allow us to come over to Greyhound for a break. We've missed you so much,".
"Aren't you in the middle of a school year? Or is it vacation time yet?" I asked, surprised.
"Xavier, we weren't expecting you," Selene suddenly said from where she was in the room. She rose to her feet and came towards me maintaining her distance "When did you come in?"
Colton purred with delight as we took in her sweet scent but I shook my head to clear it.
"It's the quarterly annual meeting with the King, so we're here in this regard. I hope you're well and the girls. How's life as a queen treating you?"
