"Ariel...." Vincent called her not liking the way she went quiet immediately they got into the car.
She stared outside the window with a distance gaze, she was lost in deep thought and that gave him an uneasy feeling.
"Ariel?" Vincent called her out and placed his hand on her lap jerking her out of her thoughts.
Ariel retracted her gaze from the window and stared at Vincent seeing the worry on his face.
Just when she spoke the loud wind blew and rain started falling suddenly, her voice fading away due to the noise.
"You said?" Vincent inquired as he couldn't hear what she said clearly.
Her tensed eyebrows relaxed and Ariel looked downwards grabbing the hem of her gown taking in a deep breath, and looked back up at Vincent who was stared at her with a expectant gaze.
"I'm fine." She yelled through the noise as their car zoomed off the rain drops hitting the roof heavily as silence reigned after Ariel's reply.
