Traces of Darkness (2)

As soon as I passed through the portal... I doubted my senses.

"What? No lights?"

I walked forward, but no matter how many steps I took, the view around me remained the same. Pitch black until the horizons, in all directions. Looking up, there's not even a single glowing dot.

Ember soon followed, then Igni, Tala, and finally Fang.

"Ugh!"

"...?"

But Fang suddenly fell forward, cradling her head as she growled in pain.

"Fang? Fang?! What's wrong?!"

I rushed to her side, along with everyone else, to check on her state. I looked at her but didn't see any weird strands of energy around. It wasn't a curse, or a skill in effect, at least. However, I could see a weird congregation of Darkness Energy around her.

"This..."

I'm not sure what's going on, but Fang seemed to be suffering from the thick energy around her. Without delay, I turned to Ember and shouted.
