"Eleven thousand dollars for a month! This is how people waste money for nothing," Lily arrived at the apartment, she opened the door; she didn't notice the person standing behind the door.

"What the hell!" She exclaimed, placing a hand over her chest.

Emelia was standing behind the door, waiting patiently for Lily's return.

Lily placed her hand over her heart, Lily was instantly bombarded with questions by Emelia.

 "How was your date? Was it romantic? How was his reaction when he saw you instead of me? Was the restaurant a five-star restaurant? Is he as cute in real life as he is in his picture," she held Lily and shook her, "Start talking before I die of curiosity, hurry up."

Lily freed herself from Emelia's grasp, we just met today; "the dinner wasn't romantic but it was comfortable."

Emelia held Lily's hand and led her to the living room, sat her on a chair, and said, "I want to know everything that went down during the date, how he looked, what he wore and even how he smelled, tell me everything," Emelia asked, almost shouting.

Lily stood up gently, "Calm down! I would've loved to keep chatting but I need to go and freshen up, so when I come back I will tell you everything." 

Emelia frowned, "Fine! but don't waste time, if you stay more than ten minutes in the bathroom I am dragging you out."

Lily rolled her eyes, "suit yourself."

"I give you ten minutes," Emelia shouted as Lily was walking towards her room.

Lily smiled.

 Emelia came into Lily's room when she was dressing. Lily was about to wear her bra when Emelia entered.

Lily sighed, "If I don't know better I will think you are a stalker."

Emelia waved her hand, dismissing Lily's words, "I gave you ten minutes but you took fifteen minutes; Be happy I didn't drag you out of the bathroom."

Lily hissed, nothing happened, "I don't know why you are stressing me with questions."

"This is your first date ever since you broke up with Fred, we are supposed to celebrate with champagne and if possible go to the club to finish the celebration," Emelia said cheerily.

"Only in your dreams," Lily scoffed.

"Never say never, "so what happened?" Emelia said, crossing her hands.

"We didn't say much, only he wants me to be his pretend girlfriend, he said he was in a fix. He looks like a business guy and he wants a girl that looks responsible and willing to act all lovey-dovey with him within the space of a month," Lily demonstrated with her hands.

"Are you doing it for free or is he paying for the service?" Emelia creased her eyebrows in thought.

"Yes, I wouldn't have considered it if he wasn't paying," Lily replied primly.

"How much is he paying?" Emelia asked.

"He is willing to pay eleven thousand dollars for the service," Lily said in pretend nonchalance.

"What! Eleven thousand dollars," Emelia exclaimed, she almost pulled Lily's hand as she jumped in surprise, she couldn't believe her ears.

 "Yes girl, eleven thousand dollars," Lily added smugly.

"Wow! Emelia's eyes widened, her brain automatically counting the hugeness of the money, $11,000 just like that, the only thing you have to do is to pretend to be his girlfriend. That's crazy, it sounds unreal, for him to throw that kind of money around; he must be a rich man," Emelia commented in surprise.

Lily frowned, "My thoughts exactly but he didn't tell me the kind of business he is into; maybe he is a drug lord."

"Maybe he is a psycho, is fucking him also involve in his condition?" Emelia narrowed her eyes at Lily.

"Stop being weird Emelia, he didn't ask for sex besides he is a total playboy. He told me he had slept with most of his female friends. I am very sure I am not his type."

Emelia gave Lily a playful nudge on her stomach, "so have you told him you agree? Because there are over a million girls including myself that will kill to get the money."

 Lily laughed, "I told him I will think about it, you know you have to act nonchalant and let him think you don't need the money but trust me whenever he calls, I will say yes."

 Emelia winked her eye at Lily, "Exactly what I expect from you, if I were you, I would have said yes on the spot but the way you acted was alright."
