Brewing Trouble

Artis and Alice made their way towards the crowd to see that a fight had broken out between 2 male adult passengers.

"Um, Excuse me?" asked Alice politely to one of the passengers, "What just happened here?"

"A fight broke out between 2 people over some disagreements. Nobody here really knows what happened as all of this happened instantly." replied one of the passengers.

Alice and Artis exchanged concerned glances before turning their attention back to the scene unfolding before them.

The two passengers were still fighting with the crew members trying their best to stop the altercation.

As the passengers continued to punch each other, one of the passengers enveloped red hot scorching flames on his right fist and punched him in the face as the other passenger fell on the floor, a slight burn mark visible in his face.

The other passenger looking angry touched the burn mark as the mark started to disappear as his eyes started to glow purple.

"Unique Skill [Eye Of The Psychos]" screamed the man as the entire area between them enveloped into a purple domain.

Artis, hearing the skill name activated his power as his right eye starting glowing again as Alice came in front of him, her eyes glowing misty, to protect him from any danger that might come their way.

The crew members present there set up a force shield made out of water as the passenger with purple glow in his eyes as the objects around them started to levitate and flow around the passenger.

'That skill....is it an evolved version of his original Unique Skill?' analyzed Artis as he kept on observing and analyzing the fight.

The passenger with purple glow in his eyes lifted a few knives to his side and aimed at the passenger he was fighting against, as the other passenger enveloped both of his arms with flames as he directed those knifes to other directions dodging some of the knifes jumping with a surging agility as he made his way towards the other passenger.

The knifes that were deflected landed all around the dining hall almost hitting some passengers as one of the knife almost hit Artis, but Alice was able to catch it midway through the trajectory.

The passenger with purple glow had frustration visible in his face as he raised his arms to push his opponent back stopping the other man midway through his approach.

Gritting his teeth, the man raised his right arm and all the pointed objects around the purple domain started to point towards the other man as he was helpless to do anything.

As the man clenched his right fist, all the pointed objects aimed towards his opponent in a very high speed.

But at that very moment, just as the objects were about hit the man, the objects stopped in their tracks as a huge pressure enveloped the entire Dining Hall causing everyone to stop what they were doing as they were suddenly filled with fear not able to think straight.

Alice, who momentarily recovered from the initial fright looked around to see the source of this strange pressure to look at the entrance of the Dining Hall and see a familiar presence standing beside the door.

It was the Captain of the cruise ship, Captain Fervier Nomis!

He had a stern look in his face currently, and as he was taking a single step, the pressure in the room increased even further.

Alice, shaking Artis to snap him out of his thoughts whispered quietly, "Artis, observe now. Use your skill in Captain and see how he handles the situation."

Artis, shaken up lightly by the pressure managed to hear his sister, as he also looked at the entrance of Dining Hall.

"That's Captain's Passive Skill [Dominating Aura] and his Attack Skill [Gravity Control], try analyzing them and make it your own."

Artis, nodding his head observed Captain Fervier blinking his eyes twice in a succession as he observed Captain Fervier.

Captain with a stern and angry look continued to take a single step approaching the passengers, pressure still increasing.

He stopped in front of them as he said with a dominating voice, "ENOUGH!"

His voice echoed throughout the Dining Hall, cutting through the chaos like a sharp blade. The passengers locked in combat froze in their tracks, their movements stilled by the sheer force of Captain Fervier's dominating presence.

With a steely gaze, Captain Fervier fixed his attention on the two individuals, "Your reckless brawl ends now!" he declared, his voice commanding with authority.

"Not only did you disrupt the peace of a beautiful night, but you also endangered the safety of the passengers aboard here! If you want to resolve your squabble, the Battleground is always open!"

"Sis, Is there really a Battleground in this ship?"

"Not now, Artis!"

The Captain continued, "Tomorrow, this ship will land of Grisline Harbor, I want both of you out from this ship for causing disruptions and endangering the safety of the people, tonight! Understood!?"

Immediately, a sound of protest came from both the passengers calling out the unfairness in the situation.

"HALT!"

The Captain raised his left foot and pressed it against the floor, immediately shutting up both of them as they looked at the captain in terror.

"If any of you cause any more trouble in this ship, I'll throw you lads away instantly! And THAT goes for everybody present here!" declared the Captain threateningly meaning every single word he said.

But then, he removed his navy blue cap that revealed his bushy grey hair as he bowed down his head and apologized.

"I also apologize to my passengers here for ruining your wonderful night. I promise you that this incident will not occur again and, as a captain, I take full responsibility for the mess caused here. Please, have a wonderful night ahead!"

Said the captain, as the dominating pressure that enveloped the entire hall disappeared as he left the room, still in a commanding presence.

"Wow..." Artis finally said as the mess was finally resolved as his eyes returned to normal.

"Crazy, right?" said Alice, a hint of pride visible in her voice, "That is my master who took me under his wings and taught me everything, he knew. The Captain of this ship, Fervier Nomis!"

At that moment, Artis couldn't help but admire the Captain as to how he resolved the situation easily with just his presence alone.

"But the way he resolved this situation, why did it felt like Captain had years of experience of handling situations like this?"

Alice chuckled, hearing her brother saying that, "You noticed it, huh? Well, you are right. The Captain does have years of handling situations like this. After all, he was a pirate once!"

"Say what!?"

Alice nodded, "That's right! Captain used to be a captain of a pirate ship in his early years in the Southern continent, Nurdoss Sea."

Artis's eyes widened in surprise at Alice's revelation. "A pirate captain turned cruise ship captain? That's quite the career transition."

Alice nodded with a smile. "Indeed. Captain Fervier's past is quite colorful. He was known as Captain Fervier the Fearless back in his pirate days."

"Anyways, did you learned anything from observing the Captain? I bet you already stole some skills from the fight that just occurred here!" chuckled Alice slightly.

Artis frowned, "Don't call it stealing, dammit! I observe them, get it? I observe them!"

Alice let out a heartfelt laugh as she said, "Well then, let's head back to our room. I'm pretty sure you are very tired! We still got 2 more weeks to stay here. Let us enjoy to our fullest after this!"

Artis nodded, feeling very tired as he activated his unique skill and observed the screen in front of him.
