STRONG AS MY TAIL

Aquarius looks around at every corner. The sun was about to set, so the small colors of light were scattered. People were dancing on the wide dance floor to the accompaniment of a lively song. The song makes people go wild and dance as if there's no tomorrow.

There was almost no way through the crowd of people partying. That's why the merhuman accidentally bumped into a woman. She looked at her, but afterward, the party girl carelessly went back to dancing.

'This is what a party looks like. So this strange music delights many people.' Aquarius thought. She was even able to marvel at the group of people and even compared them to a school of fish. Her eyes were pleased to see the legs of those party girls wearing mini shorts. 'They were beautiful.' In her mind.

"We're here," said the man when they stopped at a round table with people already sitting. There were five hunky boys and two sexy girls.

"Hi gorgeous," greeted by a man with a nose ring. He lifted a bottle of beer that Aquarius' companion reached for. The woman, who was wearing a two-piece swimsuit, took a sip of her drink and the other girl, who was wearing revealing clothes, mischievously smiled at her while pouring a beer into the glass. The merhuman girl couldn't help but gaze at the bouncy chest that was already spitting out of the woman's ruffled clothe.

"You know the drill," said the man holding the thigh of the woman next to the one who poured the beer.

Next to Aquarius was the young man he met. The merhuman felt hungry for a bulk served on the table. It's a big lobster and two plates of chips.

"What's your name?" The man sitting in the middle asked. His arms were crossed like a posing model.

"She can't talk, man."

"Oh? That's better." The man smiled mischievously.

Aquarius just smiled, then grabbed a fat lobster that had long legs just as long as her arm. They didn't think the girl would do that. They were surprised and gaped, but Aquarius didn't move when she started biting the long legs of the seafood.

While the girl was busy eating the crispy seafood, her companions at the table were making weird gestures, she didn't even bother. The girl with short hair took something from the bag. Those three pills were then secretly dropped into Aquarius' drink.

Meanwhile…

"Hey, Pinky, where is the girl who was with me a while ago?" Velvet asked the woman at the island counter when she left her brother's office.

"She has just come out, Miss Velvet. The last time I saw her was in the sea, and then a man accompanied her."

"Huh? Really?" The girl's brain cells began to tangle as she wondered why Aquarius was with a man. That's when her cell phone suddenly rang. The name registered on the screen was Peachy.

"Why?" answered the girl.

"Where are you? This girl is making a mess!" Her irritated voice was heard on the other line.

"Girl?" At first, she couldn't figure out who the person on the other side was referring to, causing her to frown.

"That unusual girl with you earlier. Where are you?"

The girl finally understood what her friend meant. Hurrying to leave, she was unable to say goodbye to the person who was on the line.

Aquarius holds her stomach. She could now feel it burning again, as if all the food she ate was still stuck in her throat. Her companions at that table were still covering their noses. The other party-goers also moved away when they saw how messy and dirty their place was.

"What kind of woman did you get, Jules! She's gross," said the man with the earring in his nose, who was still disgusted by what he had witnessed. He pressed his nose to avoid smelling the pungent smell of the vomit.

Aquarius has vomited three times and looks like she's about to do a fourth. After she vomited, she now couldn't paint her face, she even got her chest patted until the food she ate came out again. The young woman wiped her mouth with her hand, then parted her hair and gave a smile.

A man named Jules held out a glass with mixed pills in it. The merhuman was about to reach for it when a young woman's hand shoved it away. The glass was broken, but this incident did not stop the party.

"Hey, don't you dare touch her?" The girl's gaze at the man named Jules. She looked intently at them as if she knew what kind of men they were. Then she focused on Aquarius, who was wiping her mouth. Velvet sighed and whispered. "Come on, what is she doing?"

Jules laughed as if he were teasing. "Hey, why don't you two join us, it'll be fun!" The man said with a grin.

"Y'all are ridiculous. Why don't you go somewhere and just have fun?" Peachy said, who was behind Velvet. She even managed to make eye contact with those at the table, but they just laughed at her. She also couldn't stop herself from pulling the hem of her white halter-top tank.

"Ssh, just shut up, Peachy, okay? Don't ruin my plan." Velvet whispered to her companion.

"Let's go… —Velvet closed her eyes— dang it." She mumbled, remembering that she did not know the merhuman's name.

Aquarius stood up and was about to join Velvet when Jules hugged her waist. The latter was startled by what he did.

"Where are you going, babe?" The man even got a teasing look at Velvet when his hand crawled down to Aquarius' belly. The girl looked at him as if she were processing what he had done. The man stopped when Velvet quickly grabbed the bottle of wine from the table. The two female colleagues stood up to stop Velvet. 'Even though I don't understand what's going on, I think the people I went with are bad people.' Aquarius thought.

"How lewd! That's it, I'm going to call my dad!" Peachy took the phone from her sling bag and pressed number one on the speed dial. After she threatened the group, she pointed at them one by one.

"This girl is mine now. So please, just go or if you like… just join us." The man still didn't budge from what he wanted to happen, so he didn't notice the bottle coming from Velvet's left hand that hit the right side of his head. Because of this, he resigned from hugging Aquarius' waist.

The man held his cheek as he gasped, but he also stood up quickly. He didn't let Aquarius leave for their dark plan, which is why he pulled Aquarius' arm closer to him like a toy.

Aquarius struggled as the man grabbed her waist again. She pushes his hand covering her body while Velvet tries to pull her arm. It's like they are playing tug of war for the same prize. Now people were noticing them and even managed to film the scene.

Jules isn't the only one pulling Aquarius, the man's colleague we're helping as well. The merhuman closed her eyes when she felt her stomach tighten. Her eyebrows furrowed as if she was already annoyed by the situation.

Instead of struggling, the merhuman held Velvet's hands tightly, then instantly, she kicked the man who had been taking advantage of her. She looked like a gymnast in her kickback position, and Velvet acted as a pole for her to bounce off.

The eyes who were on the scene widened and stared as the chairs, tables, and also the sound system tumbled, causing the music to be lost. Aquarius' kicks threw up the man to a hundred meters. The merhuman's legs were so strong that they were similar to a horse's kick.

'M-my legs are strong? Then they are still as strong as my tail. I can't believe it.' The merhuman still managed to laugh in her mind and smile.

"My party!" Peachy shouted in frustration. There was nothing she could do but stand and watch. Velvet was stunned and unable to move at what she witnessed. Almost all the party-goers were already looking at them with awe.

Even though Velvet was still in a trance, instantly, she grabbed the wrists of her two companions tightly and screamed. "Run!"

The siren of the police mobile outside was already chiming as the three escaped unharmed.
