Chapter 13 Tyrant Meridian Technique

Later that day, Yang Yu rode on Xiao Lei as they flew through the skies. 'So, what are the techniques?' Yang Yu thought as Yun Zhu appeared in front of him.

"For your body, you will be learning the Immemorial Ice Body Refinement Technique, for your meridians you'll be learning the Tyrant Meridian Technique." Yun Zhu said as Yang Yu nodded. "What rank are these?" He asked curiously.

"Peak Grade Sky Rank." Yun Zhu said as Yang Yu's eyes bulged. "C-Come again?" Yang Yu said in shock. "Peak Grade Sky Rank." Yun Zhu reiterated causing Yang Yu to almost jump in joy.

"So what are the benefits of these techniques?" Yang Yu asked excited to know. "Well the Tyrant Meridian Technique is easy, it just gives you insanely strong meridians allowing you to cultivate twice as fast, due to the fact that your meridians can handle taking more qi. The Immemorial Ice Technique on the other hand is a tad bit harder to explain, well it isn't but it is. In a sense, it will give you an Earthly Immemorial Ice Physique, allowing you to cultivate 3x as fast. This will allow you to match even Jiang Long, assuming he doesn't have any Sky Rank techniques." Yun Zhu said causing Yang Yu to almost faint.

'This is, what the fuck?!' Yang Yu thought as he couldn't even understand what was going on. "Hah, its funny how you think this a lot, back then even experts who knew Sky Rank techniques, begged me for some teachings." Yun Zhu boasted.

"Okay, okay, so how long should it take me to learn the Tyrant Meridian Technique?" Yang Yu asked curiously. 'Although Body Cultivation is cool, I always wanted to be able to control qi.' He thought as he said this.

"Hmm, about 45 weeks, meaning 315 days, at that point you will have formed all 9 meridians 9 times each." Yun Zhu said shocking Yang Yu. "That's close to my estimates considering the benefits of being an inner disciple, but what do you mean, 9 meridians 9 times each?" Yang Yu asked in shock.

"Just as I said, 9 times each. Instead of having just 9 meridians, you will have 81 meridians which will make up 9 main ones, this way not only will they be much tougher, but also much wider. Not only that but the compounding pressure from the outer meridians on the inner meridians will increase the speed of absorption." Yun Zhu explained.

"You should feel lucky, originally with this technique and with your resources it should take about 3-5 years but with my help we can make that only 11 months." Yun Zhu continued causing Yang Yu to nod.

"So at this point, even if I didn't want to, I would be able to reach the legendary Elemental Fusion Realm." Yang Yu said. "Precisely, but with me around, hohoho, not just that shitty realm, I'll make sure you reach the highest peak this place has to offer." Yun Zhu said causing Yang Yu to feel excited about the future.

Soon he calmed down though and looked at Yun Zhu questioningly. "Why do you want me to become strongly so badly, apart from reforming your body of course?" Yang Yu asked curious.

"The stronger you are, the more information you can gain, meaning the more I will know, meaning the "stronger" I am as a scholar." Yun Zhu explained causing Yang Yu to nod. 'Basically this guy only cares for learning new shit.' Yang Yu thought as Yun Zhu nodded.

"Couldn't have said it better myself, and looky here, we've arrived." Yun Zhu said as they made it back to Shining Sky Mountain.

Next to Yang Yu's original abode, a stable now lay, where Xiao Lei could sleep. "Land Xiao Lei." Yang Yu said as the bird squawked before flying down in front of Yang Yu's house. "This will be your new home Xiao Lei." Yang Yu said as he directed the bird into the stable.

"Caw, caw." Xiao Lei replied with as Yang Yu rubbed its beak. After the back and forth trip Xiao Lei was already extremely tired and its eyes were weary.

"Here, eat this Demon Beat Supplement." Yang Yu said as he handed Xiao Lei a small medicine. Seeing it Xiao Lei grabbed it with its beak before swallowing it and lowering itself down, to take a rest.

'Are you sure this will work?' Yang Yu thought as Yun Zhu nodded. "It should, the only reason there was no visible improvement and he only got worse was due to the fact that they kept feeding him lightning attribute supplements." Yun Zhu said as Yang Yu nodded.

After that he headed into the house and sat on his bed. "So do we start now?" Yang Yu asked curiously. "No, tomorrow after you get your medicine, for now rest a bit." Yun Zhu said as Yang Yu nodded.

"Well I thought you said today everything changes?" Yang Yu asked. "Yes, well I miscalculated, I assumed there would be more resources here but after seeing the Mystic Medicine Hall, I need to refine the plan a bit so as to not waste as many materials." Yun Zhu said as he disappeared.

"Okay then, I guess I'll just wait for my dinner then." Yang Yu said as he sat on his bed and gazed at the roof. He began to imagine his journey from now on. 'I wonder if it will be just me and Yun Zhu till the end.' Yang Yu thought.

Immediately after he shivered. 'No, that would be weird, I need to make some friends at some point, or at least 1 friend, then again, could I trust them?' Yang Yu thought as he began to debate in his mind.

Ever since he was young, he learnt not to trust anyone but himself, but now he wasn't exactly sure. 'No, I definitely can't trust anyone, the world of cultivation although 1000 times more spectacular is also 10,000 times more dangerous.' Yang Yu thought as he put his thoughts to rest.

A few hours later the servant with his dinner arrived and he quickly grabbed it before gobbling it up. After that he cleared his things, checked on Xiao Lei and went to bed.

Inside the Crimson Steel ring Yun Zhu wiped the non existent sweat off his forehead. 'This is much worse than I thought, how much did the world deteriorate for a 20 year old to only be at the 7th Stage of Qi Refining, back then, that'd be terrible.' Yun Zhu thought as he wrote in his diary.

'The only conclusion I can come to, is that there was a war, a war of mass scale.' Yun Zhu thought as he ended off his passage in his diary. 'This is also good though, it means Yang Yu has an advantage, and that advantage is, at least at this stage, is that only that Jiang Long fellow can compete with him.' Yun Zhu thought as he closed his diary.

"I should rest." He said to himself as he closed his eyes, falling into slumber.
