Heroes were summoned, wars ended, and the world was saved. Except, it wasn't. The heroes turned traitors and started conquering the world instead. They conquered, destroyed, and ravaged for fun. Meanwhile, a remote village got wiped overnight, with only one survivor. Now surviving the tragedy of his village, Flint, pledges to seek vengeance against whoever dared to unalive all his precious family.
"Are you sure about this?"
Flint was back at the academy.
He felt much better today.
Both from a physical and mental perspective.
"I am," Flint said. "Besides, me staying here might put the whole city to danger."
"Something gives me the feeling that that's not why you're leaving…" Erveine grumbled, staring back and forth between Amanda and Flint.
"Well that and, I think I want to go on an adventure."
"What the-" Erveine checked Flint's head for trauma. "Seriously, ever since waking up, he's been spouting a whole bunch of nonsense. What the hell happened to you going out for revenge and that crap?" She shut up- apparently realizing a second too late that perhaps this was for the best.
Flint couldn't just be stuck thinking about revenge- he had to move on with his life.
