"Let's see who can complete the first seven movements faster?" He indeed decided to go all out.
At their age, it was clearly very effective. He was sure that Xingyue would be driven by this and work harder. He was right about this, after all the competitive spirit could never be put out in kids.
Xingyue was hesitant for a moment, he grit his teeth and agreed "Okay!"
Among children, who does not think that they are the main character in their own story. It is even more so among boys and Wang Lu wanted to take this as motivation for not just himself but also Xingyue. From the way he saw things, it was far difficult to be motivated after feeling the pain of practicing the body tempering technique.
Only things would become completely different if he made into a competition. His ego would probably not allow him to he suppressed by Xingyue as he was someone with two lives. When his mental age was put into question, he should be old enough to he his father.

A few hours later, Wang Lu was the only one at his residence and his body was sweating profusely. It would be difficult to tell this was the person that liked to busk in the sun because of the cold bones.
He kept trying to stand up, but he couldn't. His breathing was rapid, and even face looked slightly pale.
He had forced himself to complete the first movement and after doing it about four times, he couldn't even move anymore. His entire body was very sore. It was as though his muscles had been forcefully stretched. He couldn't even speak, but even so, he was already sure that this was not something normal people are able to endure.
Even though he kept going until his muscles stopped him, others might not be willing to reach this point. But not everyone as some would go even further, with the help of medical herbs.
He didn't continue to struggle anymore, after all he couldn't move. He just lay in place, and after a few hours when he could barely move, dragged his body into the cabin to sleep. He wasn't even in the mood to eat, after all his body was just too exhausted.
He ended up paying for this, as he woke up early, but instead of practicing, he had already moved towards the region they received trianing. The kitchen there was the source of their meals. He couldn't come yesterday because of his body was aching all over, but at the moment, his aching joints and muscles were nothing compared to his hunger.
After reaching the cafeteria, he didn't plan on being a gentleman at all.
"Uncle Lei! Give me something nutritious and large piece of meat." Hearing the childish voicez those in the kitchen just burst out laughing.
"Here comes another one!" He was just too hungry to care about them. He took about four minutes to clear his tray of food then went for another round. Only half an hour later did he walk out of the cafeteria and also started to remember the muscle pains.
But he didn't get affected by this, as his legs just felt slightly numb. He was going back to train, and didn't plan on wasting time anymore.
"I just have to make sure the number of times I can repeat the first movement is more than yesterday, as long as I make rapid improvement, I don't think my plan will fail. Perhaps in a week I could have reached the third movement." He was thinking to himself when he reached his cabin, he felt the smell of medical herbs was just too strong.
"Huh! Medical herbs? I'm I in the wrong place?" He indeed was doubtful, after all when he left to go and eat, he didn't leave any medical herbs boiling. But he was sure this was his cabin.
Moving forward, he could see a woman with white hair and middle aged face standing in the open space, in the center of the Cabin. She had set up a medical cauldron in the middle of the field he practiced.
He couldn't just help but ask, "Who are you? Why are you setting up a fire outside my cabin?"
"Are you Wang Lu?" The woman didn't answer, but rather asked a question.
When Wang Lu looked at the woman, he could feel she was formidable, far more than even that Wang Dazi. He was able to feel this, and thus very careful, and hearing her mention his name, he become even more vigilant.
"I was sent by your grandmother to prepare some medical herbs for you. You will have a chance to soak in the medical bath three times a day and should take advantage of it to practice your body forging!" Hearing her words, his interest was piqued.
He had only seen a portrait of this woman. She was said to be among the strongest geniuses of his grandfather's generation. Her strength also allowed her to gain control of territory in the Central place of the Wang Clan ancestral home. Her achievements were the reason for this, and yet he never understood what achievements were being mentioned.
He was far more interested in meeting her to admire the demeanour of the strongest woman of their generation. But in this world, practicing martial arts was taken very seriously, he couldn't delay his practice to just meet her.
"Grandmother? Is she out of seclusion?" He asked subconsciously. But he didn't know if it was an illusion, bu he felt the old woman had become slightly amicable after hearing him ask this.
He pushed that thought aside and looked towards the woman.
"She left temporariry, and will be heading back!" The answer to his question was precise and she didn't add any extra information that would prompt more discussion.
Since that was the case, he didn't continue on this topic. It would be useless, if he wanted to see his grandmother, he had to leave this place first. But he was incapable of doing that unless he reached the Human general stage or quit the training. Quiting was not something he had planned on doing and trianing to the human Commander stage was not possible in a short time.
Since nothing could be done, he would just obediently train.
"What are the benefits of the medical bath?" He couldn't help but ask.
"Why don't you try it and find out?" She spoke again, and he looked at the massive cauldron almost wanting to ask her how she got it in this place but stopped himself. This was a cultivation world, it was not shocking to be able to move such a cauldron. What he was supposed to focus on was the words grandmother and medical bath.
He was far more interested in the effect of the medical bath. But he didn't know how to try so he asked. "How to try?"
"Of course strip and climb in!" She replied casually.
"Huh!" He was shocked by her straight answer without even any shame.
